Migraines Symptom You Should be Aware Of

Migraines headaches doesn't have to control your life! In this article, you will note there are several migraine symptom to help you determine if you do have migraines and what to do about them.
Migraines Symptom You Should be Aware Of
There are many different types of headaches but the migraine headaches sets itself apart from the others. There are certain migraines symptom that you should be aware of to determine what type of headache you are suffering from.

And this is why you should pay attention to your headaches because there are some symptoms that generally goes along with the classic migraines. It may help you determine whether you have a migraine, muscle tension or sinus headaches. All these types of headaches require different treatment methods.

The first migraines symptom that may happens starts right at the beginning... even before you actually experience the pain from the headaches. It is called an "aura." Migraine sufferers report that they can see flashing lights in their vision. Some report that they lose their peripheral vision. But like I said, this happens BEFORE you start experiencing the nausea and sometimes vomiting.

But if you see a blue glow and you were "tickling the dragon's tail," it means that you need to stop fooling around with the uranium. (just kidding!).

However, migraines are no joking matter. And not every migraine sufferer reports the exact same symptoms such as an aura. But if you do notice having one before experiencing the classic migraine symptoms, it is a very good indicator that you do have migraines.

Another clue that you may have migraines is if you are experiencing the pain on one side of your head only. However, it is not always the case. But 2/3 of the migraine sufferers report that they only feel the sharp and severe pain on one side of the head only.

I need to also mention that migraine sufferers also report being more sensitive to smells, light and sounds. And this symptom may exist until your migraines go away. Other symptoms may be feeling light-headed, having diarrhea, or even some difficulty talking.

What you must understand is that this is just an article. And the very best thing that you can do and should do is talk with your family doctor about your migraines symptom. Your health care provider will probably want to run a few simple and easy tests to determine the probably cause of your headaches. Also rule out the more serious medical conditions. These tests can be anything from a MRI test or some others that your doctor can do at the doctor's office.

And once your doctor determines that you do in fact have migraine headaches, he will recommend that you start treatment and prevention program for headache relief. The main thing is that migraines does not have to run your life. It can be managed. But you have to take control. And the best way to do that is to start the ball rolling by seeing your doctor and be sure to write all your migraines symptom down. It can help him arrive at the proper diagnoses.

I urge you to be proactive and understand that you don't have to unnecessarily suffer from migraines. It can be control with the help of your doctor. And the sooner you do this, the sooner you can vastly improve the quality of your life - pain free.
