Midnight

Existential angst and hope…
Whose reassuring voice you'll hope to hear
In the dead of the midnight that never ends
When you awake to secret dreams of rage
To silent misanscene the other side of life

Whose eyes will catch your restless gaze
When mirrors lie and mind imprisons soul
When stars abandon sky and tired wind
Abruptly changes its predestined course

Whose open arms will offer you embrace
When world stays silent to your plea, and
Thoughts of immortality about to fade into
Shadows of immanent nothingness---
