Michael Lohan to Sell Lovechild Story

Recently it was reported that Michael Lohan possibly fathered a daughter outside of wedlock when he had an affair with a woman named Kristi Kaufman. Kaufman claims that she and Lohan had an affair in 1995 when he was separated from his now ex-wife, Dina. She claims that he fathered her daughter, Ashley, and wants her to have a relationship with Lohan’s other children – Lindsay, Michael, Ali, and Cody.

Lohan underwent testing last week to determine if he is the father of the 13-year old girl. Sources claim that he has approached both Ok! And People magazines and asked for $20,000 for the rights to the story if it is determined that he fathered the girl. A source reportedly said, "He’s approaching everyone to get the highest bid because, if he is the dad, he’s going to need the money for back child support." It has been reported that People denied that Lohan approached them and Ok! claims they are not interested in the story.

Lohan has also said that he is preparing to take legal action against Kauffman if it is determined that he is not the girl’s father. He said, "I’ll have the result within two weeks, and I’ll clear this matter up." Lohan added, "If the DNA results are negative, we plan on filing a defamation suit." Lohan has had a strained relationship with his family. He served time in prison in 2005 for a Dui and other charges. His relationship with famous daughter, Lindsay, has been a roller coaster and recently it was reported that they were on the outs again. Lohan doesn’t help his cause by speaking to the press about Lindsay and their relationship.
