Michael Jackson’s Brother Look to Take Over Tour Dates

Michael Jackson’s brothers have been busy lately performing internationally, and are apparently in negotiations to take over some of their deceased younger brother’s London tour dates.
In a seemingly brash move, the late Michael Jackson’s brothers are seeking to take over some of their younger brother’s tour dates, in the process negotiating with concert promoters AEG to perform at several of the venues of Jackson’s scheduled comeback tour on the same days. At present, it appears that the brothers are in talks to perform at the O2 Arena in London, where their younger sibling was to perform 50 shows starting this month.

No stranger to the stage and performances, the Jackson brothers had a variety of hits with their group "Jackson Five," though the youngest brother, Michael, was always the show stopper. Among that group’s hits were "ABC" and "I Want You Back." Though the London dates at the O2 Arena would certainly be the other Jackson brothers’ biggest shows, they have been actively entertaining on the international scene. The Jamaican music festival Reggae Sunfest has recently announced that Tito, Randy and Marlon would be at the event.

Jermaine Jackson is slated to spend the same weekend in Austria to accept a posthumous humanitarian aware on behalf of his youngest brother. The award is to honor Michael and will be presented at the 2009 Save The World Awards. It’s not just the brothers in the Jackson clan who have been keeping busy, however, as La Toya Jackson is releasing a single, titled "Home" on July 28. The proceeds from sales of the single and performances will benefit AIDS Project LA, a charity that was supported by brother Michael prior to his death.
