Mesothelioma Types According To The Place Of Tumor

There are four types of mesothelioma, the malignant types would be three and the fourth one is the non malignant type that also could be called benign mesothelioma. The malignant mesothelioma types are the pleural mesothelioma, the pericardial mesothelioma and the third one is the pericardial mesotheliom.

For pleural mesothelioma, the tumors will be observed within the mesothelial cell of the pleura. If you don't know what is pleura, the pleura is the outer membrane that surrounds the two lungs and attached to the inner side of the wall of the chest.

In the peritoneal mesothelioma, the tumors will be observed in the mesothelial cells of the peritoneum, the peritoneum is similar to the pleura but surrounds the internal organs in the abdomen. This type is less common than the mesothelioma cancer of the pleura but may be more deadly.

The pericardial mesothelioma is the cancer of the pericardium, the pericardium is the surrounded layer that contains the heart and the great vessels. This is the least common type of mesothelioma but has all dangerous affects on the patient.

The main cause of all mesothelioma types is the exposure to Asbestos materials, these materials was using in the manufacturing field especially the field of construction manufacturing. The dangerous of Asbestos was known from a very long time but those manufacturing companies let their workers and customers to deal with such material showing high Negligence.
