Merie Coral's My Golden Adventure
Just a continuation, I guess read on.........Oh, be sure to read the first five chapters if you don't know this,
"Three! Jump!" I yelled.
We both jumped to the river, holding hands. But the current was strong, I still held Alex’s hand.
"Fairrah! Fairah!"
I can hear something, my grip was slipping away…….
"Fairrah!"
I’ve lost my grip.
I got suddenly weak, and then I knew that I was that the current is carrying me down the river which led to one thing,
Waterfalls.
I screamed till my world enshrouded in complete darkness.
(Alex)
We both jumped to the river while holding hands.
This was not the time for romantics, I thought.
I rose from the water; and caught a rock. I’m glad that Fairah is still in my grasp. She is barely awake….
"Fairah! Fairah!" I called out, she didn’t respond.
I’ve lost her.
"Fairah!" I yelled out. Tears run down my face for the loss.
The currents were strong. She has been carried away from me.
"Get the rope!"
I only heard the word rope; I searched for it and pulled it. Someone is pulling me to safety. Than I was on dry land.
I got on all fours, and spat some water.
"Are you all right?" said my rescuer, it was male.
"Yes," I said, barely breathing, "Thank you…."
"Your welcome! Come on now, let’s go back to camp!"
I tried for a salute, I failed, "Yes, sir…."
Fairrah, I’m sorry.
