Memory

PLEASE READ AND COMMENT, let me know that you think…
Sitting here in utter melancholy,
I scream for you, I cry for you.
I fight against your memory
And do whatever I can to keep from reminiscing.
The deafening silence simmers down my ear,
My pores open and prepare to let you out.
My tears fall to my wound
And sizzle as they're absorbed into my skin.
The blood feels so warm against my brittle bones.
My pupils dilate as I dig my nails into the desk,
To try to keep the pain away.
Not even death itself can keep me from hurting.
If my blood stops coursing through my veins,
And my heart slowly stops,
My soul will still have tears to shed,
It will still have pain to feel.
Though my life can be taken away,
Your memory will linger for years to come.
