Memoirs of a Jealous Guy
Jealousy does weird things to a man...
In a time of famine, fear and failure,
I met a stranger, sweet and shy,
Precious... as precious as iron ore,
Though without her wings this female pegasus could still fly.
As contradictory as beauty and the beast,
Our differences compliment our significant other,
Even though she flew West and I East,
The world is round... this I promise you brother.
Though my sign was Capricorn and her is Cancer,
She preferred Sagittarius, what a disaster,
The signs were there... it was pretty obvious,
That this predator... this archer was ferocious.
So here I stand, my life bittersweet,
What's it to him, to him she's a piece of meat,
Not every word I say you have to buy,
'Cause these are the memoirs of a jealous guy.
