Mel Gibson Threatens to Bury Ex Oksana Grigorieva
Mel Gibson has been running down a path of self destruction of late, with recorded threats against his ex-girlfriend the latest problem he faces.
That Mel Gibson is a bit off has been pretty well established. An anti-Semitic rant a few years back after being pulled over for drunk driving could, perhaps, be excused as just a bad day, too many drinks, or perhaps a bad mix of pain medications. Lately, however, the formerly well-respected actor has shown even more bizarre behavior. Gibson has, of course, been in the news most of late for his relationship with Russian singer-songwriter Oksana Grigorieva. Nothing seemed to be terribly amiss there until early this year, and lately it has surfaced that he had threatened her.
Apparently, among those threats was one to bury her in the couple’s rose garden, presumably a hint that he intended to kill Grigorieva. That threat, according to a source, was captured on a recording by Grigorieva, who took the threat to mean that her life was in danger. The source also indicated that there were many other threats recorded on roughly 30 minutes of tape that has been submitted to a Los Angeles judge in the custody battle the couple is engaged in over their daughter, 8-month-old Lucia.
Noted the source, "Mel made a series of serious and violent threats against Oksana. When things in their relationship started going badly and he made the first threats against her, Oksana decided she need to protect herself." On the tapes, Gibson reportedly admitted that he punched his ex during a January 6 fight, noting that she "f---king deserved it." He also apparently threatened to burn down her house and told her, "You look like a f---ing pig in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of n----rs, it will be your fault."
