Meeting You Again - Prologue

I looked into his chocolate-colored eyes. I hugged him, and got into the car. I waved goodbye as we drove off, I thought that was the last time I would ever see him.

I was 13 when that happened, we had to move from Florida to South Dakota. I didn't want to, but I had no choice. Now here I am 4 years later on a plane coming back to the place once called home.

As I walked into my old house, I smiled I'm glad to be home. You see, my dad got a promotion from the company in Florida, and then 4 years later, my dad got a better Job offer back here in Destin. So we are back home. I can't wait to see my friends. I bet they have changed a lot.

I opened the door to the high school as I walked down the halls. I saw people I thought I would never see again. And there he was, my best friend who I haven't seen since I was 13. Daniel. Daniel had a Sandy brown colored hair, light brown eyes, and a great smile. I smiled and went to my locker. It took a while to open my locker, so I was a bit late for home room.

When I walked to the front of the room I could tell, everyone was staring at me. I handed Mr. Lucas my paper saying who I was and that I was new here. "Alright Class, this is Marlana Smith, she is here from South Dakota, please make her feel welcome and help her during the day."

I looked up from the floor and my eyes laid on Daniel he was like staring at me he waved for me to sit next to him. Well I sort of no choice since the only seat left was next to him.
