Recipe # 1
Ingredients Required: Water, whipping cream, fresh basil, beef, pork, onion, Holland rusk crumbs, salt, butter and cayenne pepper
Procedure: Take whipping cream, about a fourth of a cup and mix it with water in a bowl. Now add ¼ cup of Holland rusk crumbs to this mixture. Keep on mixing, until you see that the entire crumbs have become moistened. Now take another bowl and combine 2 teaspoon fresh basil, ¼ teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, ¼ cup of grounded beef and pork, and about 2 tablespoons of onion in a big bowl. Now take the crumbs mixture prepared before and add to this mix. Start make balls about an inch in size out of this mixture. When the balls are prepared, take a frying pan and put some butter in it. Place the meatballs in this pan and saute them until they turn brown from all sides. Keep on shaking the pan occasionally so that the meatballs do not burn and remain round.
Recipe # 2
Ingredients Required: Cranberry sauce, chilly sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, frozen mini meatballs.
Procedure: Defrost the pre-cooked frozen meatballs, about forty of them, by placing them in water, at room temperature for about three hours. After three hours, take a saucepan and mix both the sauces i.e., twelve ounce of chilly sauce and sixteen ounce of cranberry sauce to it. Heat the sauces for about a minute and then add two teaspoons lemon juice and one tablespoon brown sugar to the pan. Mix until the ingredients are blended together completely. Now take a baking dish and place the defrosted meat balls in it. Add the cranberry mixture prepared before, to the meatballs. Set the oven at about 350 degrees Fahrenheit and let the meatballs remain in the microwave for about 35 minutes. Remove them after the allotted time and now you can serve them on toothpicks or in plates using small forks.
Recipe # 3
Ingredients Required: Frozen pre-cooked meatballs, raspberry jelly, pineapple, pineapple juice, cocktail sauce, bell pepper.
Procedure: Defrost the meatballs by placing them in water for about 3 hours. When they are thawed, put about 40 meatballs in a crockpot. Add one cup raspberry jelly and one chopped bell pepper to it. Chop the pineapple into small pieces and put it in the crockpot too. To make the sauce, combine two cups of cocktail sauce with half a cup of pineapple. Stir the liquids so that they get blended properly to make an even sauce. Now add this sauce mixture to the crockpot. Put the lid on the crockpot and let it cook for about two hours. Crockpot recipes need time as it is a slow pressure cooking method but they taste delicious, so the effort and time spend on cooking them is worth it. Cook until the meatballs turn a light brownish. Keep on stirring from time to time when they are in the crockpot.
