Maybe

To all the people who tend to judge people like me.
Everyday people judge me,
By what I wear,
For once I would love to go somewhere,
Without all the stares,
Maybe if I looked like you,

Then maybe you would see,
I have a heart too,
Maybe if I acted like you,
Then maybe you would see,
I can feel pain too,

So what I like darker colors,
And tend to dye my hair,
So what I do as I feel,
And never seem to care,
I don't know who told you,

You were so cool,
But me and my kind,
It's you all that are the fools,
We can act like ourselves,
And don't care if you like it,

But why do you all,
Think to judge us?
If we wanted to be fake,
Then we would act like you do,
Maybe if I didn't wear my tight skinny jeans,

Then you would see,
Deep down it hurts,
When you all just stare at me,
Maybe if you all were the ones being called the freaks,
You would see,

That we're all the same inside,
It's just with us,
We don't hide.
