LeBlanc, 39, and McKnight, 41, reportedly finalized their divorce on Wednesday. The couple will share custody of their two-year old daughter Marina and LeBlanc will pay $15,000 a month in child support until their daughter turns 18. He will also be 100 percent responsible for her medical costs, school tuition, and the cost of a nanny. Neither LeBlanc nor McKnight sought spousal support. McKnight received a cash payment she received as a term of the pre-nuptial agreement she signed before their wedding.
The couple was introduced in 1997 by actor Lou Diamond Phillips and dated for five years before tying the knot in May 2003. The couple was married in a beach wedding in Hawaii in front of 75 guests which included LeBlanc’s former Friends co-stars Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and Lisa Kudrow. LeBlanc helped raise McKnight’s two children from a previous marriage and the two seemed to have it all.
Rumors of marital strife surrounded the couple after an August 2005 article in the National Enquirer that detailed a night of debauchery that LeBlanc allegedly enjoyed with a stripper. In March, LeBlanc announced he was filing for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences." At the time his publicist Joe Libonati said in a statement, "The dissolution is amicable. They remain devoted parents and friends." Yeah, right. Shortly after it was announced he was getting a divorce it was revealed that he was dating his Joey co-star Andrea Anders, 31. The couple is reportedly still together, but the show was cancelled in May. As for McKnight, a close friend of hers said she was "absolutely blindsided" by the split.
