Matt Damon & Wife Welcome a Girl

Matt Damon is a daddy again! Jennifer Allen, Damon’s rep, said Wednesday, "Matt and Lucy Damon had a baby girl named Gia Zavala on Wednesday, August 20th. Everyone’s doing great." She added, "She’s healthy and beautiful." Baby Gia joins big sisters Isabella, 2, and Alexia, 10. Damon and his family are currently living in Miami and he recently joked about being the only male in a female dominated household, "I’m so outnumbered down here, it’s crazy."

Damon, 37, and Luciana, 32, met in 2003 in Miami Beach, Florida while he was filming the comedy Stuck on You and she was bartending. The couple was married on December 9, 2005 by a justice of the peace in New York City. They welcomed their first daughter, Isabella, on June 11, 2006 in Miami. Luciana also has a 10-year old daughter, Alexia, from her first marriage.

Damon, People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2007, is currently re-shooting some scenes for his thriller Green Zone and then plans to relax. He recently said he is planning on "taking the rest of the year off. I’m just hanging out with my family." He has a number of other projects in the works. He is set to play Mr. Aaron in the drama Margaret and will appear in the thriller The Informant directed by Steven Soderbergh. He has also reportedly signed on to play Jason Bourne in a fourth installment of the popular series. It has been reported that filming is set to begin next summer for a 2010 release.
