I wrote this on January 21, 1992 when I was experiencing professional crises and don't know whom to trust.

Life is never a desisting masquerade
A rivalry of masques
The enchantress and the savage, they said
Imbued with dissembles
Both fresh and aged, faulty and just
Brimming with grieves and yet
Hysterics cap wholly the evil
Guilt is just nowhere in site
"I don’t care," all you heard
Life is bursting with masques
There are so many frames in store
Tarrying each one of us
Life is authentic
Where everybody’s required to pretend
Where everybody…..
Find it the shortest route to subsist
Everyday till the windup
Masques are there ready for window-shop
No need to dash
It never stream out of stock
Try to match yours
And savor the image of the day
Seize a hurdle one at a time
Tomorrow is another day of make believe
See you all… who endures.
