It was recently reported that the police were interested in questioning Olsen about four phone calls made to her by Diana Wolozin, the masseuse who found Ledger’s body. The calls were reportedly made to Olsen before Wolozin even called the police. She reportedly knew that Olsen and Ledger were friends and called her for help. New York Police Detective Joseph Cavitolo reportedly said, "Absolutely at no time are we going to be interviewing her. We never had any plans to interview her. At this point we are just waiting for the Medical Examiner’s report."
It has been reported that Wolozin showed up for Ledger’s massage appointment at 2:45 p.m. She tried calling him from her cell and the housekeeper let her into his room at 3 p.m. Wolozin quickly realized that Ledger was not moving and was cold to the touch. She then contacted Olsen using the speed dial on Ledger’s cell phone. The first call to Olsen was at 3:17 p.m. and lasted 49 seconds. She called Olsen again at 3:20 p.m. and that call lasted 1 minute and 39 seconds. The third call to Olsen lasted 21 seconds and was placed at 3:24 p.m. Wolozin reportedly finally called 911 at 3:26 p.m., nine minutes after the first called was placed to Olsen. The police arrived at Ledger’s apartment at 3:33 p.m. and tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate the actor. He was pronounced dead at 3:36 p.m. Cavitolo said Friday, "There’s no crime for calling Mary-Kate first. There’s no crime for not calling 911 initially."
Olsen released a statement Friday that read, "Heath was a friend. His death is a tragic loss. My thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time." Mara Buxbaum, Ledger’s publicist, said that no funeral details would be released to the public. The cause of Ledger’s death will not be determined until the toxicology tests are completed. An accidental overdose has been suspected, but not confirmed. The test results are expected within a week.
