Marsupials

Marsupials, such as the kangaroo, wallaby, wallaroo and the possum are found in the warm wilderness of Australia. The arboreal marsupials, found in the wild canopy of South American rainforests, outnumber the mammals there. Marsupials carry their babies in pouches and hence differ from mammals. The marsupial family began expanding itself about 70 to 80 millions years ago.
