Marijuana, Other Vices Contribute to Wrinkles
We all know that drugs and alcohol are bad for the body. However, did you know that they also help wrinkles grow faster? If you find yourself abusing drugs and/or alcohol, you must read this article.
Eat well, exercise often, and live healthy. These are all common words of wisdom we hear from our elders and people who care about us. Everyone should live healthy, eat healthy, and take care of themselves, but the fact of the matter is not everybody does. Did you know that vices such as smoking marijuana can actually help wrinkles form? It is true, and if you care about your skin, you should try to live a healthier lifestyle.
A lot of people smoke marijuana to relax. It's true, marijuana puts the body in a mellow state of mind and allows people to relax. However, there are side effects with marijuana and all other stimulants that kick in after the high is gone. Furthermore, when you have a habit of smoking marijuana and stop all of a sudden, you suffer withdrawal symptoms. So how does this form wrinkles you ask?
The answer is two-fold. It's common knowledge that smoking in general helps wrinkles form. So, unless you are eating marijuana brownies or consuming it in some other form, you are smoking. That's the first half of the answer. Part two is the fact that wrinkles are accelerated by stress. When you stop smoking marijuana or any other addiction for that matter, your body suffers from massive amounts of stress. Stress builds up due to the body wanting something that you are not providing it, and the stress eventually reaches a boiling point.
The stresses are both physical and emotional, which is a double-whammy for the mind. Other vices that can have similar impacts on the mind and body include alcohol, cigarettes, and of course, drugs. When the body suffers stress due to consumption or withdrawal from any of these factors, it's not a good thing.
To stay healthy and young, try to avoid consuming intoxicating substances such as marijuana. If you really care about your body, you will stay far away from them or keep consumption to a minimum. However, if you really care about wrinkles and your skin, my guess is that you will avoid them altogether.
