Mall Scavenger Hunt
Mall Scavenger Hunt - the last time I went to a party with this party theme, I was out all evening. In fact, the party ended because the shopping mall had to shut for the day. The best thing about mall scavenger hunts is that they can be organized for any age group and enjoyed all the same. In fact, the participants will bond with each other even if it is the first time they meet. A mall scavenger hunt party is a memorable one. All that you need to ensure is that your scavenger hunt at mall does not disturb any one else. The more interesting the mall scavenger hunt clues, the more fun the party!

Mall Scavenger Hunt (Free Spree)
In this type of mall scavenger hunt, the participants will have to get back items in a list. All the items in the list can be acquired for free. The team to return with the items first, wins!
Free Spree Mall Scavenger Hunt Clues:
  1. Shopping bag (extra credit for the biggest bag)
  2. Napkin from the food court (preferably with the logo)
  3. Paper Clip (color can be as per the host's choice)
  4. French fry (has to be for free, participants cannot buy it)
  5. 5 Business Cards (different people's business cards)
  6. Wedding registry printout
  7. Chocolate samples (team with maximum variety gets extra credit)
  8. Company letterhead
  9. Autograph from a stranger
  10. Something that a store was willing to dispose off
  11. a glass of water
  12. Pen and pencil
  13. Mall Map
  14. Box and hanger
  15. A name tag
  16. Straw
  17. Employee application at some store in the mall
  18. Lipstick marks on all the participants cheeks

The team found running, screaming or being rude will be disqualified. No two items can be taken from the same store, else one of the items will be considered invalid.

Mall Scavenger Hunt (Color Code)
This type of mall scavenger hunt may not be free. However, you can give the teams a specific budget. All the items from the list should be of a specific color. The host can decide that color. You could even try giving the teams different colors but a hunt for the same color will be more competitive. As always, the first to be back with all the items, wins.

  1. Shopping bag
  2. Page from a note pad
  3. Eye Shadow (should be worn by all the participants)
  4. Cheap discount sweater
  5. Sunglasses
  6. Pen
  7. Notepad
  8. Napkin

The list can be modified on the basis of the budget. More expensive items can be picked if it can be returned to the shop in a specific amount of time. However, the issue will have to be discussed with them beforehand.

Mall Scavenger Hunt (Candid Camera)
Ok, basic requirement for this party - a camera for each team. In this mall scavenger hunt, the teams need not procure the items, only their photographs. All the team members (except for the cameraman) have to be in the photograph, unless otherwise specified.

A photograph with...
  1. An undressed mannequin
  2. A big blue teddy bear (color as per your discretion)
  3. While trying on a pair of pants
  4. A salesman named Mike
  5. Wearing two different shoes
  6. Asking someone for the time
  7. Shooing someone off a bench
  8. Sleeping on that bench
  9. Hiding behind a pillar, tree or bush
  10. Going down on one knee and asking someone to marry you
  11. Playing a video game
  12. Waving out to someone on the first floor, while standing on the second
  13. The entire team doing the "wave"
  14. Giving kids under 6 years of age, a piggyback ride
  15. Opening the door for someone
  16. Hugging a stranger
  17. Standing outside the mall and pointing at it in astonishment
  18. Wearing a lot of "bling"
  19. Holding a signboard
  20. Wearing big sunglasses
All of these photographs should be as hilarious as possible. Each participant can go back with the prints of all the photographs as party favors.
