Malia Jones was born on the 27th of March, 1977. Born in California, she moved to Kailua in Hawaii when she was two years old. She has two brothers, Daniel and Mikala.
She says that she cannot remember the first time she rode a surfboard, but she soon began to participate in Surfing Competitions. At age 15 she won the United States Amateur Surfing Championship.
At that time, she was spotted by the Surfing Magazine and was asked to model for their swimsuit issue. From then onwards, Malia Jones began her other career as a model.
Malia has appeared on the covers of several prominent magazines like People, Sports Illustrated, Esquire, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, and so on.
She has been voted as one of the "50 Most Beautiful People" by People Magazine and was also on the "10 Most Sexiest Athletes" list of the Esquire Magazine.
Malia Jones has also worked in commercials for products like VO5 Shampoo, American Express and Coca-Cola.
She also designs a swimwear line for Mambo Graphics sportswear.
