Along with the over the counter medications and topical creams, trying certain home remedies can also be a good option. One of the home remedies that is very commonly used for yeast infection treatment is garlic. Consuming one clove of garlic, once or twice everyday is a good cure for this infection. However, if you do not like the taste of garlic, the best thing that you can do is to buy some garlic pills from the health food store. Rubbing the yeast infected area with a garlic tied in a gauze can also be of great help. Apart from garlic, applying vinegar to the yeast infected area is also an effective method. However, you should never apply vinegar directly to that area. Combine the vinegar with water or the anti fungal cream and then, apply it to the area affected by yeast infection.
