Making Ice Cream without using an Ice Cream Maker
Ice Cream on Sticks
You Will Need...
- 1 cup orange juice
- Bowl of whipped cream
- Small glasses
- 5 ice cream sticks
- Vanilla essence
Quick and Easy Ice Cream
You Will Need...
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 can condensed milk (sweetened)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup grated dark chocolate
- 1 bowl chocolate chips
In a separate bowl whip the cream until stiff peaks are formed. You can use an electric mixer, it just makes the whisking part easy. Once you reach the desired consistency, spoon the mixture out and combine it with the chocolate mixture. Gently fold the mixture. (Folding is a way of combining the various ingredients to attain a certain texture). Add chocolate chips when you are done with combining it well. In the meanwhile just freeze a shallow bowl in the freezer.
Place the mixture in the cold bowl and freeze it for an hour. Check it after an hour, it will start freezing at its edges. Now, remove it and break up the partially frozen mixture and stir well until smooth and creamy. Repeat this process some 5-6 times every 30 minutes so as to not let the ice cream turn into ice. The point is to freeze it until firm but not hard as ice. However, avoid over beating it, as that would harden the entire mixture. If in case the mixture becomes too hard, place it in the refrigerator until it becomes smooth again. Enjoy the creamy yummy ice cream.
You can have several variations to the above ingredients, you can add fresh chopped fruits instead of chocolate chips, or caramel sauce, or even chopped nuts taste fantastic. If you do not relish the chocolate flavor much, omit the chocolate part from the above method and add vanilla beans or an espresso coffee to have the respective flavors. Enjoy!!!
