Make web pages load more faster on Firefox
Firefox is by default set for dial-up connections. To improve browsing speed and get full advantage of having a high-speed internet connection do the following improvements:
Type in the address bar: about:config
In the Filter textbox, type: network
Find network.http.pipelining and double click it to change the value to TRUE
Double click on network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and change the value from 4 to 8.
Now check to see if this change made your browser load web pages faster.
