Magical Monday
The start of my week stories. enjoy! =)
*Ring Ring! * Ugh… I’ve always hated getting up from my warm, comfy bed but I had to get ready, for it is a Monday morning. I got up, and landed my feet onto my bright green, fuzzy carpet. I dragged myself to the bathroom, taking a nice warm shower to wake me up. Once I got out, I brushed my teeth, and went to my closet. Nothing was really special about my closet. It was just a regular old closet full of jeans, t-shirts and all of my other clothes and accessories. I slipped on a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, along with a blue Abercrombie t-shirt and my Wishing on a Star jewelry set that one of my best friends, Colleen, gave me on my 16th birthday. After applying a little mascara, eyeliner, and some lip-gloss, I was almost ready to go. Walking into the kitchen I rummaged through the cabinet to find my favorite peanut butter chocolate chip Chewy bar, grabbing my Vitamin Water from the refrigerator, and getting my dog, Cookie-dough’s favorite Beneful Delight meal and dumping it into his food dish. Once he was galloping over to his food, I patted his head and checked the time. 7:45 it read, perfect time to go. I slung my black backpack, slipped my feet into my Converses and I was out.
Chewing on the granola bar and getting a sip of my Vitamin Water, I walked to my school that was about a block away. By the time I got their, my best friend Kiki and Colleen were waving like lunatics to get over to where they were standing, under the Maple tree, our usual meeting spot. "Hey guys, what’s up?" I asked them, sitting at the trunk of the tree with the others. "Not much, we were waiting for you Emily!" Kiki replied smiling. Colleen groaned and sat with us. "Cheerleading practice today?" I asked her, looking at her sadly. "Yup… I hate it! Thanks mom!" she replied sarcastically. You see, her mom used to be one of the top cheerleaders when she was in high school, so she wanted Colleen to follow her footsteps but Colleen hated it. The bell rang, warning us to get inside before we become late. One by one student disappeared into the school. This is going to be a fun day, I thought in my head as I walked into tortureville.
After school all my friends walked to the best ice cream place on earth, Sweet Palace that sold pastries, drinks, desserts, and candy. Once we got a table, I was sitting between Ethan and Raymond, while Colleen, Kiki and Michael sat across from us. I had ordered the strawberry blast while Raymond ordered chocochunk, Ethan ordered mint valley, Michael ordered pistachio blend, and Kiki and Colleen both ordered the fruit paradise. For an hour or so we sat there and talked while eating until not a single spoon of our ice cream was left. After that, Raymond, Ethan, and Michael went to the arcade while my bffs and I went to the mall. We were looking at the makeup at Sephora and bought some items. I bought several lip-glosses, Kiki bought some more mascara, and Colleen bought some eye shadow. We walked out of the store holding the purchased products and walked into Bath & Body Works. They had a new product that I really liked called: Secret Wonderland and also had my two favorites, Midnight Pomegranate and P.S. I Love You and bought them all.
Walking happily out of the mall we said our good byes and walked home in different ways. I slipped my house key into the slot and turned to hear it click in place. Opening the door, I was greeted by Cookie-dough and closed the door. I set down my things and played with him for a while and gave him a treat. I then picked up my new things again and walked to my room. Setting my makeup, body, lip products in the order of smell and name on my table in the bathroom I got my pjs and took a quick, hot shower. After that, I walked into my bedroom plopped onto my neon green bed and setting my laptop on my lap, I surfed the web. My eyes started to droop as I placed my laptop back onto my desk, called my dog to come and slid under the covers. I was petting Cookie-dough when we both fell asleep…
