Madonna Tell All A No Go?
It has been reported that the book written by Madonna’s former nanny, Melissa Dumas, that was bought by Crown Publishing will not go forward.

Earlier this week, Crown Publishing announced plans to release the tell-all book in September. Dumas had shopped the 80-page manuscript and will write the book with a ghostwriter. The book was reportedly set to "detail, from the nanny’s perspective, what home life is like for the Material Girl and her director husband, Guy Ritchie." The book, titled Live to Tell: My Life as Madonna’s Nanny, was to shed a negative light on Madonna and her home life.
Dumas claims that she lived with Madonna during 2005 and 2006. She said that during the time she worked for the Material Girl she had to follow all the strict household rules of no television, newspapers, or magazines. She also claims that she had to adhere to a strict diet and exercise regime. It was also reported that the book was to include personal pictures of Dumas with Madonna’s children and personal family photos. The book will reportedly include intimate details about Madonna’s marriage, the behavior of her children, their connection to Kabbalah, and her adoption of a boy from Malawi. Dumas also reportedly promised to include a non-disclosure agreement that she claims Madonna gave her after she had resigned from the nanny position.
There has been no official word as to why Crown Publishing backed out of their book deal with Dumas. Sources say that Madonna’s lawyers stepped in and put the kibosh on the book. Dumas will presumably start shopping for another publisher…chances are that Madonna’s lawyers are on the case to make it impossible for the book to ever hit the shelves.
