Madness is as madness does
Madness through the memories that once was.
The memories of pain, of sadness, of sorrow
Never even thinking of living till tomorrow
The scraping of the blade
As it tore across my skin
The screaming of the pain
Coming from within

Or the fists on my body
As you beat me black and blue
You had told me you loved me
It turned out to be untrue.
Madness I have found
Is something most sound
You have to be careful to not go completely insane
From the madness, the hate, the pain....

Close your eyes and you will see
A different world, this world of mine
And all that can be
If we stay side by side
Take my hand, keep me from falling
If you don't, I will answer my calling.

The calling of madness
That runs through my veins
I'm sorry everyone
For no longer being sane.

I now live in a world
So different from yours
I live in something called hell
Yes I am still on earth
