Mac vs PC
The Mac vs PC debate has been going around for some time now, with no clear winner at sight. In this article we are going to discuss the difference between Mac and PC.

Difference Between Mac and PC
A Mac is a thing of beauty which is only for true connoisseurs who have the ability to understand and prize such an object. The PC on the other hand is for everybody, as the flexible price range makes it affordable across all sections of people. The Mac comes with a very hefty price tag and only a true Apple enthusiast who has heavy pockets can afford it. Here is a comparison of Mac and PC.
Operating Systems
The computer operating system for Mac is OS X and that for PC is any of the versions of Windows XP, vista or the latest windows 7. From as early as 2007 until late 2009, Microsoft's main operating system was Windows Vista which sometimes ran into problems like its tendency to crash and become sluggish after a period of time. But Windows 7, is a great operating system and it can match Mac Os X series. Mac OS X which is the Apple's operating system, is a very slick and efficient piece of software that is user-friendly and helps to make your work less complicated.
Programs
This is one domain where the PC vs Mac debate heats up. Staunch PC loyalist claims that the sheer number of choices available in terms of software and applications is mind-boggling. The programs have been developed under the best conditions and all comes with Microsoft's incredible research and credibility and they can give the Macs, a serious run for money. But the programs that comes with Windows like Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Player seems to be too drab and almost garden variety. But Apple scores well in this department. Programs like iLife suite, which provides tools for editing, organizing, and sharing photos, video, music are a dream for anyone who is into social networking and visual arts like photography and designing. iWork is another application that is a testimony of the ingenuity of the Apple creators and it greatly helps to increase your productivity.
Variety and Modification
The best thing about Windows PCs is the kind of variety you can have while choosing a computer. They come in all sizes from the tiny ones to extra-large. There also come with additional features like touchscreens, Blu-Ray players for high-definition movies, and TV tuners that allows you to watch movies and TV and also record cable and satellite TV. You can purchase a PC that is any color you like ranging from hot pink to neon green or even transparent.
Apple on the other hand makes Mac in nine basic variants: the basic MacBook laptop, the MacBook Air ultraportable, the MacBook Pro laptop in 13", 15", and 17" models, the Mac Mini microdesktop, the iMac all-in-one desktop in 21.5" and 27" models, and the Mac Pro power desktop. It does not come with Blu-Ray, TV tuners, touchscreens, and other features that are found in a Windows PC.
If you want to know, which is better - Mac or PC? ,well there is no clear answer to that. If you just list Mac vs PC pros and cons it will seem like there is no clear victor between the two. The only thing to remember is that you should choose a computer that is best suited to your needs and which is also within your budget. Also try to predict future requirements that you might need from your computer and then buy the best computer in the market without paying any heed to the Mac vs PC debate. A computer for your office or home should ultimately fulfill your needs and help you to have an organized life.
