Lynne Spears Book Moves Forward
It has been reported that Lynne Spears book will be moving forward despite reports earlier this week that it had been shelved.

Spears’ book Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame in a Tabloid World was reportedly shelved by Christian book publisher Thomas Nelson in the wake of her 16-year old daughter Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy. Lindsey Nobles, a rep for Thomas Nelson, reportedly said Friday, "It is her memoir, not a parenting book." The book was originally going to be released on Mother’s Day, but now the release date is unknown. Said Nobles, "We don’t have a new publication date. It is still in the process of being written."
This is a slightly different version of the book than first announced. A spokesperson for Thomas Nelson confirmed the book back in October and said, "It’s a parenting book that’s going to have faith elements to it." Now it is just Lynne’s "memoirs." The book is reportedly Lynne’s "personal story" of how she groomed daughters Britney, 26, and Jamie Lynn, 16, into stars while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community.
The books future seemed uncertain after Lynne and Jamie Lynn Spears’ announced that the 16 year old star of Nickelodeon’s hit show Zoey 101 was expecting her first child with longtime beau, Casey Aldridge. Michael Hyatt, the president of Thomas Nelson released a statement about the book saying, "Lynne’s remarkable story will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the terrible toll it extracts from those who aspire to it. Though the book has been delayed, we believe God is at work." Jamie Lynn has announced that she is keeping her baby and would like to raise it in Louisiana.
