Lung Cancer and its Alternative Treatments

Article discusses lung cancer its causes, symptoms and different treatment options including conventional and alternative treatments.
What It Is

Lung cancer is a disease that forms when cancerous cells grow in the tissues of the lung forming a tumour. It can be categorised into two distinct types: small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

NSCLC makes up about 80% of lung cancers, of which there are three types: squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma and large cell carcinoma.

The less common SCLC is usually more serious because it spreads at a quicker rate. This means that by the time it has been diagnosed, it is often too late to provide effective treatment with anything but surgery.

Causes of Lung Cancer

Although the development of lung cancer is linked with a number of factors, many of its causes are still not fully understood. Of the factors that we are aware of, the most common cause is smoking, which makes up the vast majority of lung cancer cases.

However, other factors including contact with certain chemicals such as asbestos, as well as a poor diet low in fruit and vegetables, are also thought to be related to the onset of lung cancer.

Lung Cancer Symptoms

There are very few symptoms in the early stages of lung cancer, making it particularly difficult to spot. However, when symptoms start to form they usually involve problems with breathing, such as a shortness of breath and coughing.

A persistent cough is often the first sign, and if you begin to cough up phlegm with blood in it then we would highly recommend a visit to your doctor. Other possible symptoms include a chest ache, a hoarse voice, swollen lymph nodes and loss of weight.

Conventional Treatments

Conventional treatments for lung cancer often consist of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, drug treatments and surgery. However, the choice of treatment will vary greatly from patient to patient, as the age and general condition of the patient have to be taken into consideration.

Due to the advanced stage that SCLC has often reached when it is diagnosed, surgery is usually impossible and chemotherapy is therefore the best option. In cases of NSCLC, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or a combination of all three may be used to treat the cancer.

With all of the conventional treatments, we advise that there are a number of possible unpleasant side effects.

Alternative Treatments

Due to the unpleasant nature of many of the conventional treatments, and the often painful side effects that they can produce, many people now opt for alternative cancer treatments in order to avoid the pain and suffering that they might otherwise go through.

One of the most successful forms of alternative treatment is known as Formula MVA. This formula consists of a dietary supplement, the aim of which is to boost the immune system. It contains a combination of natural substances, including Vitamins B1, B2 and B12, Palladium and Acetyl Cystiene amongst others. It has long been known that a strong immune system is one of the keys to recovery, and Formula MVA attempts to utilise this.

Formula CN is another formula which can be used for the treatment of lung cancer. This highly successful formula has undergone considerable testing over the years to increase its effect on cancer cells, and was even used by two US presidents, J. F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan, with successful results.

As well as using these formulas, great success can be achieved through undergoing Bio-Photonic light treatment. This involves UV rays being directed at the cells in an entirely natural process that works by restoring the amount of energy contained in the cancerous cells, leading to a much better chance of recovery.

Another treatment that comes with high success rates is High Body-Temperature Therapy, which works by mimicking the conditions of a fever. Using a special infrared sauna, sweat that is packed full of toxins is created, allowing the body to free itself from the harmful toxins within.

One type of technique that can go alongside all of these natural treatments is known as Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT. This aims to heal the patient emotionally by balancing their meridian, and consists of a completely non-invasive treatment. Numerous cancers and other diseases can be caused and made worse through traumatic or stressful events. By reversing this process and restoring balance to the cells in the body, the cancer can be effectively treated.
