Lunar Kiss (Chapter 13)
I know that this is short but I'm trying to figure out a way to sum up this whole story so I can move on to a new one.
"I'm bored Artemus."
Artemus sighed. "We could have more sex?"
Luna blushed. "No not anymore I'm to sore." She sat up and walked over to the window.
"Can't we go outside play around a little?"
Artemus sighed. "I told you no outside for another few days."
"But Artemus I'm so bored."
She walked over to the couch and fell onto the couch. "Just look at the other animals playing outside. They are all enjoying the spring sun."
Artemus sighed. "You whine a lot you know this?"
She blushed."I'm sorry it's just so boring"
There was something moving inside the kitchen and Artemus gestured for her to stay put. When he came back he held a tiny white mouse in his hand.
"Cute. What are you going to do eat it?"
Artemus rubbed his chin as if he was actually thinking about it and then opened his mouth wide.
When she gasped in disgust he laughed. "I'm just kidding Jesus Christ Luna."
He set it back on the floor and it scurried under the wooden planks.
"If I find that he's chewing things I am going to eat him."
Luna rolled her eyes and stared at the old wooden ceiling. "I think I can feel my hair turning gray."
Artemus frowned."A few more days Luna please just shut up."
Luna growled. "Whatever you beast I'm going to go hibernate."
When she turned the corner he yelled. "You're a wolf, you can't hibernate."
She pushed something over and yelled something he couldn't quiet make out. He smiled. "I always have to take it there, I know I'm bad."
Three days later
"Really!?" Luna sat up and ran out the door changing as soon as she hit the forest floor.
It feels so good. She stretched and let out a loud howl.
Shhh.. Luna they could still be watching us. Luna immediately lowered her muzzle and sniffed the air.
I don't smell anything Lalu.
It doesn't matter mi amor. Let's get back to the cabin see if they stuck around.
Oh yeah smart idea let's go back to the people who wanted to skin us and then eat us for dinner.
He huffed. They would've only left two guards Luna. I've watched them for half my life. Let's go.
When they finally arrived to the cabin they had taken out two guards and entered the house. Still in their wolf forms, of course. They sniffed around and when they were sure there was no danger they hesitantly searched the area around the cabin.
"They are gone."
Luna laughed sarcastically."Really now?"
Artemus growled."You know what I meant."
She sighed and ran ahead of him. "Whatever."
"Such a child."
Running through the forest reminded her of Andre and her heart skipped a beat.
I'll always be with you Luna.The sun seemed to whisper to her. The water seemed to be him the trees. The forest just emitted Andre and she barely could control herself from howling her heart out.
Strange enough, they stayed just running through the forest. I guess it must have brought back memories with Artemus also because he had this far away look in his eyes.
When they got back to the safe house they both changed and came out of the room to cuddle on the couch. "I miss him Artemus."
He exhaled."So do I, my love. So do I."
They fell asleep to the steady beat of the rain on the roof and the ticking of the old grandfather clock.
Artemus sighed. "We could have more sex?"
Luna blushed. "No not anymore I'm to sore." She sat up and walked over to the window.
"Can't we go outside play around a little?"
Artemus sighed. "I told you no outside for another few days."
"But Artemus I'm so bored."
