Lucifers' Battle [Part 2]
The continuation of the battle between God and Lucifer (the Devil). God has thrown Lucifer to Hell, and is extremely upset.
He gathered His faithful,
The Angels who cared,
Though Lucifer was adamant,
His troops were quite scared.
He wanted his power,
Just an even share,
But God wouldn't give it,
The Friendship was no longer there.
The parting of the ways,
Was all Lucifer could get,
But knowing his ambition,
That was the closest he would get.
The battle cry sounded,
The Angels all fought,
This was all in His domain,
Not the way Angels were taught.
God himself fought Lucifer,
They were almost evenly matched,
But God himself was stronger,
And Lucifers' face was gashed.
Bleeding out light,
As only Angels can,
He was temporarily blinded,
His face clutched in his hands.
His wings crumpled behind him,
He suffered a deadly blow,
And Lucifer was flung from heaven
Into the realms of Hell below.
God looked at the Rebels,
He threw them down, too,
For they were not loyal to God,
Whose Angels they slew.
Poor God was distressed,
He had lost his best friend,
The result of His throne,
Of ruling all Men.
The Angels looked concerned,
They weren't sure what to do,
How can you console God,
When compassion is God, too?
God heaved a great sigh,
His Angels with shining faces,
His only true followers,
The result of His graces.
