Lucifers' Battle [Part 1]

The fight between God and Lucifer. A holy battle that has inspired generations of artists and writers. Tell me what you think, please.
Angels adoring
All surround God,
Basking, glowing,
Smiling, they applaud.
But one angel sits back
Away form the crowd,
Bold Lucifer the Angel,
Has a darkening shroud.
He's whispering carefully
To an Angel, his friend,
Planning, sharing,
Plotting Gods' end.
He gathered his troops,
Snd Gods' trusting, gentle grace,
Helped Lucifer along
For no one noticed the changing pace.
God didn't know it,
He never had a chance
To figure out Lucifer
And his rebellious plans.
They gathered along,
They never broke ranks,
And Lucifer demanded
To be free of Gods' thanks.
God looked shocked,
And asked why he was so mad,
But Lucifer just smiled,
His face looking sad.
" You just don't get it,
Your head's in the sky,
But I guess that's the point,
That's why Angels can fly.
I want to be an equal,
Your partner in time
And to know that people love me,
Is that such a crime?"
But God wouldn't have it,
He didn't want to see,
His best friend was parting,
And rebelling against He.
