Loving Him - Chapter 5
Luke Fielder is next in line to take his fathers place, working for the CIA. But what happens when his parents get a divorce, and his dad hires him a young and beautiful counselor to talk to, distancing him from Sarah, his girlfriend. Luke starts spending less and less time with Sarah, which makes her an easy target. So what happens when Sarah is suddenly kidnapped and disappears from Luke's life? Will Luke be able to find her?
I'm so sorry, that this story has not been uploaded in a while. I wanted to finish Our Hearts Beat As One first. But now that It's done, I;m going to work on this story. Nessa, I am so sorry I didn't answer your questions last time. I had so much on my plate, but to answer the, You'll just have to wait and see. I know this Is kind of late, and you have probably forgotten by now. But I hope y'all haven't forgotten about me. I will be uploading every Friday from now on. Chapter 5.
I looked up at the ceiling, trying to decipher what I was feeling at this precise moment. I couldn't call Luke, and I was stuck with a jerk, who expected to be my babysitter. That was not what I had expected.
Usually people would expect the person that kidnapped them, to be some old guy who was ugly and disgusting, but no. Mine had to be hot, and.....Well, I guess that about covers it, considering I barely know anything about him. Well, except that he wanted me for some reason. Other than that, no. I knew nothing about Bryan, or why he wanted me.
I did miss Luke. That was a fact. Even though I had caught him cheating on me, I did miss him. Did he miss me? Did he even know that I was gone? If he did, what was he doing to get me back? Was he doing anything? Anything at all?
I rolled onto my side, and stared out the window that was in the room that they had put me in.
How long was I going to be here? What did they want with me? And what did I do wrong?
I hadn't recalled. doing anything wrong. I did good in school, I got good grades, and I followed the rules. I never broke the rules, so why would they have any reason to take me?
"Get up." A voice ordered, from the doorway.
"Why?" I asked, turning to look at Bryan, who was looking at me with those eyes of his.
"Because I said so! Now do as I say!" Bryan said.
I stumbled to my feet, doing exactly as he said, trying to protect myself.
"What do you want with me?" I asked, my voice low.
"That's none of your concern."
"Just tell me. I'll give you whatever you want. What is it money? How much? I'm sure-"
"Be quiet."
"Please, Bryan. I didn't do anything wrong. I just want to go home. Please, just let me go home."
Bryan was in my face faster than I could blink. His breath was in my face, and I could smell the faint smell of coffee, on his breath.
"No."
"Please? Please, Bryan?"
"No."
"Please?"
"I said no!"
I flinched, and swallowed. What did they want with me?
"But-"
"Come with me." Bryan ordered motioning to the door with his head.
I followed him out of the room, not saying anything. Why would I?
He led me down a long hallways, until we reached the end of it, and there, at the end of it, was a door, that I didn't recognize. But why should I? I've never been here before.
"Where are we?" I whispered to Bryan, hoping for some answers.
"My dad's office."
His dads office?
"Why?" I asked, curiously.
"Because he wants to see you."
"Why?"
"Just go." He said, opening the door, and letting me in.
I walked inside slowly, until I came to a desk, with the man that I had seen before sitting at it. He looked up as I came in, and smiled gently, before gesturing to the seat with his hand.
I sat down, hesitantly, not knowing what to expect.
"Sarah." The man said, gently.
"Sir." I replied, deciding to use my manners, hoping to get out of here, sooner.
"How are you, today?"
I swallowed. "I want to go home."
"Ah. I see. That's not possible at the minute, but soon, you will be able to go home."
"What do you want with me?" I asked, looking at him.
He smiled. "Who said, It was you that I wanted?"
"I'm here, aren't I?" I said, in a rude gesture.
He scoffed. "You will not use that tone with me, young lady."
I flinched. "I'm sorry, sir."
He smiled. "Much better. Now, It's not you that we want. It's you little friends, Luke and his family."
I flinched. "Luke? What did he do?"
"Ah. All in good time, little girl."
"I'm not little." I replied.
He grinned. "To me you are. Now. I want you to be well behaved tonight. We're having visitors."
"Visitors?" I asked.
"Yes. It's part of our family." He answered, looking at me.
"Do they know, I'm here?"
"No. But you're going to be represented as Bryan's girlfriend."
"His, what?" I asked, my eyes widening.
"Bryan's girlfriend." He replied.
"But, I have a boyfriend!"
"Yes, Bryan."
"No! Luke!"
"Not at the moment you don't. Now I expect you to be on your best behavior, can you do that?"
"Yes." I told him, sighing.
"Good. Now, Bryan will take you back to your room." He said, motioning to someone behind him, who I assumed was Bryan.
Bryan led me back out of the room, and than all the way back to my room, before disappearing back down the hallways.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket, and checked the signal, hoping to at least have on bar.
Yes!
I had one bar!
I scrolled down to Luke;s name, something I hadn't done in a while, and hit call.
"Hello?" Luke asked, his voice desperate.
"Luke?" I whispered, the tears springing to my eyes.
"Sarah! Are you okay? Where are you? I love you!" Luke said, talking fast, and I had to listen to hear everything he was saying.
"I''m fine, I'm just scared, Luke." I cried, the tears coming faster now.
"I know, sweetheart, and I'll find a way to get you out of there. Do you have any idea where you are?"
I looked around, and then looked outside, looking for any indication as to where I was.
"No. Luke, I'm sorry."
"Don't be. I'll fine you, Sarah. I love you." Luke replied, sighing.
I bit my lip, not wanting to answer. I was still mad at him, I had only called him, hoping to get him to help me.
"Yeah. Me too." I replied.
"Sarah. We need to talk. About what happened. But now Isn't the time. Listen, hon I gotta go. But I will find you, so for now I want you to do everything they say, and stay calm, okay? Can you do that for me?"
"Yes. But Luke, how do you know who they are? I never told you who I was with."
"I'll have to explain later. I don't have time right now, Sarah." Luke said, sighing.
"Luke. Please. Just get me out of here. Please?" I whispered, the tears descending down my cheeks.
"I will." Luke said, before hanging up.
I sank to my knees, and sobbed, I wanted Luke. I wanted to feel his arms around me, and I wanted to feel safe with him. I didn't even care that he had cheated on me, I just wanted him. Now.
I heard the door open quietly, and then I looked up at Bryan, with the tears still in my eyes.
"Sarah. Come on. It won't be that bad." Bryan said gently.
"Y-you don't understand!" I sobbed, the tears coming faster.
Bryan sighed. "Look, please just don't cry. Please?"
I looked at him, and sighed. I had to stop this. Especially with Bryan around.
"Okay." I agreed, getting to my feet.
I would get through this.
