Love's Silent Confession
It's okay I suppose.
A poet's disgrace,
Without the comfort of words embrace,
My thoughts run short,
And my heart rapidly retorts,
I am at a loss,
Nothing to say what is true or false,
No way to take this back,
I plead the fifth its common sense that I lack,
Fairy tales are all misleading,
If Cinderella felt this her heart would have been bleeding,
Its as torturous as it is sweet,
Nothing on Earth can compete,
But I wont speak this aloud for it to be true,
Nothing can make me say I love you.
Without the comfort of words embrace,
My thoughts run short,
And my heart rapidly retorts,
I am at a loss,
Nothing to say what is true or false,
No way to take this back,
I plead the fifth its common sense that I lack,
Fairy tales are all misleading,
If Cinderella felt this her heart would have been bleeding,
Its as torturous as it is sweet,
Nothing on Earth can compete,
But I wont speak this aloud for it to be true,
Nothing can make me say I love you.
