Love's An Illusion
When love goes bad...

It crawls with the probing fingers of a curious hand,
Searching for a heartbeat, a pulse that it can understand,
It belongs to another time.
It lives in the memory of a teardrop in the rain,
A crystallized vision held within a pearl of pain,
A tragedian drama to loneliness on the silver screen,
It's just a thespian dream.
An act of approval to vulgarity and lies,
A sordid encounter with apathy, uncompromised,
There's no negotiation between sympathy and suicide,
When the audience cries.
A foggy mist vision that swirls on a breath,
A cold vapor notion, an idea lost in a sunset,
The embers of romance that linger in a broken heart,
Where whole worlds fall apart.
You're not the only one lost in melancholy thought,
You're not the only one who's dream's amount to naught,
I share the emotions of a soul that's been torn apart,
I share your broken heart.
