Lover's Dream

How can something so sublime,
Be so far away?
Waiting here, time after time,
I feel a slight dismay,
As days go by one after one,
They cycle then repeats.
The moon it rises, then the sun,
I long to hold you sweet.

Across an ocean we live,
In separate worlds and ways
But every night we give
Our thoughts on coming days.
Days when we may meet again,
And see each other's face
Once more, so we may then
Cherish love's embrace.

Every night I dream of you,
The same scene every night.
It's one that I can follow through
And bring this dream to light.
In the dream that I command

Meeting as the flight's all land,
With a kiss that lasts forever.

As we are back at home
Held in an embrace so dear
No longer will I roam
Searching for my hearts attraction.
