Love Lost

Disappointment before a relationship has started, is probably better than while in it. But it still hurts just as much.
It Hurts
Deep down
Way inside
It Burns.

This ache
A stake
Driven through
My heart.

I know
I must
Let go
For now
There is
Only pain.
