Love Sick

I told myself "I need and love you"
Deep in my heart I knew it wasn’t true
I changed my ways thinking you would love me more
As time went by, my heart became sore

How can a relationship be so good in the beginning?
Before you know it, it’s ending

We went from "loving each other"
To throwing objects at one another

To cursing and fighting

I was blinded by the smooth voice and the soft touch
I loved you so… much
I was blinded by the sweet words and the beautiful comments
I wanted to believe you was the one god sent

Now I’m suffering from heartache
Because of the mistakes you made
