Love or Family

~Ivy~

"You can't do this to me you can't Daniel." I said

"I'm sorry Ivy but I'm doing this for your safety and for Venus' safety" he said.

"What does my twin sister have to do with any of this?" I asked

"Because, Ivy I'm a werewolf and the man your sister loves is a vampire. We're enemies, you and I dating puts you, Venus, and your entire family in danger. Is that what you want?" he asked.

"Well, no but-" he cut me off

"Then it's settled. I'm sorry but this has to happen" he started for the door

"But Daniel is this really what you want? Don't you love?" I asked heartbroken.

"Ivy," he said as he turned to face me. "I absolutely adore you and that's why I have to go." he said. I could see the agony in his beautiful green eyes.

"Fine then," I said. "Just go" I never wanted to see him again.

"Ivy, I-" he started to say but I cut him off

"Daniel, please don't make this any harder. Leave now" I said without emotion.

I watched him go and as soon as I heard his car pull away I burst into tears.

~Venus~

I'd heard everything that Daniel and Ivy had said and I was furious.
How could someone hurt my sister like that? I was about to go into Ivies room and give Daniel a piece of my mind, but Sean held me back.

"You know that's not going to help the situation." he said.

"You're right. It's just how could someone love someone else so much and then just leave them?" I asked

"I don't know but what I do know is that I will never do that to you." he said and I could tell he was telling the truth.

"I know. But seriously, if you ever do leave me there's no coming back."

Daniel came out of Ivies room and I glared at him. If he ever tried to come back things would not be pretty and he knew it.
