Love or Family Ch. 6

~Ivy~

So, after class on Friday (which was when Riley and I became a 'married couple' we'd shared a kiss.

We were just joking around and then all of the sudden we're kissing. And it wasn't like a little kiss that meant nothing, no there was serious heat.

On Monday, I received a note in my locker. It said~

Ivy,
You have two of the hottest guys in school both head over heels in love with you. I'm warning you, you can't have both of them. You have to choose. If you don't, well, let's just say things will NOT be pretty. So, pick one OR ELSE!

I couldn't believe it. I was partially happy because I'd made one of the girls I hate most angry, and I was partially annoyed. Who was she to tell me what to do? She already had four boyfriends!

"Hey Ivy. What's up?" said Venus.

"Well, the prissiest girl in school is threatening that if I don't stop hanging out with either Daniel or Riley 'bad things' will happen to me." I said.

"Wait a minute. Liv threatened you?" she asked clearly shocked.

"Yeah."

"Okay you know what Thompson is so going down." she said.

"Venus, please don't make a big deal out of this, it's nothing really." I said trying to get her to calm down (which by the way is not easy).

"Not a big deal? Are you kidding? You can't just take this lying down." she said furiously.

"I don't plan to, but right now I'm seriously worried about Livs health." I said.

"Oh, you should be." she said then stormed off.

Sean was coming as Venus was leaving.

"Um... is she okay?" he said.

"I really don't know. I just told her about this note and she got pissed, like really pissed." I said.

"Yeah, I think I'm going to go hold her back."

"Thanks Sean, you're a sweetheart." I said.

"I know." he grinned as he left.

I really was concerned for Livs health. If Venus was really as mad as she looked Liv should be very, very afraid right now.

~Venus~

I sat in the principal’s office for about thirty minutes before he could actually see me.

"So, you attacked Miss. Thompson, is that correct." he asked in a stern tone. I knew he'd side with Liv no matter what I said; her family is basically the only thing keeping this school from going bankrupt.

"Yes, yes I did." I said with confidence.

"And, why did you attack her?" he asked.

"I attacked her because she'd sent a threatening letter to my twin sister."

"If it was addressed to your sister, then why did you attack her?" he asked.

"Because, if you insult my sister then you insult me. She is my twin, and you can only comprehend the bond between twins if you are one. Liv threatened my twin and in turn threatened me."

"Okay, so I won't mention this to your parents if you promise never to attack any student in this school ever again, do you hear me young lady?!"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." I said, I could care less if my parents knew.

"So, you'll have detention for a month." he said as if expecting me to throw a fit.

"Fine, can I leave?"

"You're free to go." he said. I bolted; I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Principal Crawford is a freak.
