Love or Family Ch. 2

~Ivy~

Venus and I got into the car and started driving to school.

"So, I met this guy who would be perfect for you." she said

"Hon, unless he's got black hair, dark green eyes, is a werewolf, and his name is Daniel Carter. I don't want to hear it." I said.

"Oh, come on! You can't just let him breaking up with you rule your life. He was just a guy." she said.

"Venus, what would you do if Sean broke up with you? Do you think it would be that easy to just get over it?" I asked.

"Well, I don't know what I'd do. But I bet I could handle it better than you are." she said.

"Whatever." I said. Sometimes Venus could be a real pain.

~Venus~

When I was walking to class you wouldn’t believe who I saw. Daniel! The day he broke up with Ivy was also the last time anyone had seen him.

When I saw him I walked right up to him and asked "What do you think you’re doing here?!"

"I’m here to ask Ivys forgiveness." He said in a very dignified way.

"Oh, no you’re not. I’m not letting you anywhere near her." I said.

"And you think you can stop me, little girl?" he said. He was right of coarse, I mean he’s 6’10 and I’m 5’2 do the math.

"Excuse me, but, what did you just say to my girlfriend?" Sean asked. I smiled up at him, I could always count on him, I love him.

"I said that, if your little girlie here doesn’t move her tiny butt, I’ll be forced to move it for her."

"You lay one finger on her and I will end you." Sean said menacingly.

"Look guys I just want to win back the woman I love is that such a crime?" he asked.

"Daniel, you broke her heart. Why would I ever want to let you get close to her when there’s always the possibility that you’ll break her heart again?" I asked.

"V, I know what I did was wrong but I just want one more chance and if Ivy doesn’t want me anymore I’ll leave, but I just want a chance." He said in a desperate voice.

"Fine, one chance. Oh, and if you ever call me ‘V’ again I’ll get Sean here to rearrange your face, got it?" I said.

"Yeah, I got it V… I mean Venus." He with an ecstatic grin on his pretty little face.
