Love Of The Haters Special

Hi! I was writing this on the bus randomly. It was in between Serena and Aaron's relationship before their big fight with Aaron thinking Serena cheated....Um..Okay! Comment please! -- Tavita K.
"Ari, my legs hurt," Serena wailed as we walked side by side to the bus stop that was about 3 or 4 blocks away. Lucky, right? Haha, not. Since I lived up on the cliffs, the nearest bus stop was far away and Serena clearly stated we were taking the bus tomorrow when she slept over my house instead of taking my car. Honestly, I have no idea why.

"So what?" I asked and noticed how she began to lag behind. I frowned at her, but matched her slow steps.

"Carry me," she pleaded, and stopped walking altogether. I halted along with her and stared at her full pink bottom lip that jutted out in a pout. Damn, they were practically daring to be kissed.

"Why?" I sighed, but bent over so she could climb onto my back.

Serena laughed, clapping her hands together once before pouncing on my back. I stumbled forward, but regained by balance before we could both tumble forward onto the rough sidewalk.

"Thanks, Aaron, I love you," she cooed into my ear, her arms hanging loose around my neck so she didn't fall as I held her legs against my sides.

"I love you, too, babe," I breathed, the ache on my back from her light weight disappearing as her sweet words spiraled in circles through my ears. It thrilled me when she said she loved me. It made it so much clearer that she was mine as I was hers.

As we neared our bus stop with Serena trailing sweet soft kisses down my neck, the guys waiting there gave low wolf whistles. I grinned at them, my eyes twinkling and felt Serena's face flood with warmth as she pressed her cheek to mine. The senior girls just turned away from us, feigning disgust as if they were annoyed, but the jealousy remained unhidden in the depths of their eyes. I couldn't care less about them though, I was watching the younger freshman and sophomore girls who were watching us with admiration, awed at the true relationship Serena and I had.

The bus pulled up by the curb just then and we piled in, Serena sliding off my back. Serena effortlessly pulled me to the back of the bus and plopped down on an empty seat. I sat beside her and my arm hooked around her back, pressing her close to my side. She tucked her head under my chin, with a soft contented sigh and my eyes closed as I breathed in her sweet scent. She smelled like wild cherry blossoms and her hair tickled my neck.

Gently moving her head from against my neck, I tilted her face up with my hand. She blinked at me with pure blue innocent eyes and I swooped down to kiss her lips that molded in perfectly with mine. I could feel the small delighted smile on her lips as our lips remained locked.

"Hey! No kissing on the bus!" the driver scolded.

Serena instantly recoiled, embarrassed and her face was lit up by a flame within. I found her hand and stroked her palm with my thumb, smiling at her as she gazed out at the window, still flustered about the scene. There were chuckles from around us and the senior girls scoffed.

"Sorry," I called back, smirking. "Maybe next time we'll actually listen," I whispered to Serena, snickering. She grinned at me, and I winked as our laughter echoed in my ears.
