Love Of My Friend

Dedicated to my friend Lisa who tragically lost her life in a car accident…
A month before, we celebrated my 18th year of birth,
A week before, we came together with friends to celebrate yours!
The day before, you lost your life,
That day I found out id lost my friend.

I loved you like a sister,
I know you loved me too.
Forever I will miss your smile,
And of course those bright eyes of blue.

The day after you didn’t join me in that exam, I sat in your seat.
A day later I saw your car in the newspaper.
A week later I sat in your funeral and said my teary goodbye.
8 months later, I still miss you Lisa.
