Love...Lost...Friend...

*Wow, its been a very very long time since I submitted something. I am truly absolutely 100% sorry for making you guys wait so long. It's just that I had one big gigantic writer's block and is still on it. I have all the scenes down, but just can't put it into words. I was going to start chapter 9 over the summer, but turns out I was even busier in the summer than I am in the school year. So this poem is related to the story but not the whole story. Hope you guys like it and please forgive me for making you guys wait so long.*

But now things had changed

We played a game
Out in the sun
People thought it was lame
But we had fun

On Valentine's Day
You had gave me a letter
You had something to say
Something that made me better

When we were together
I believed it was a myth
I'd thought we would last forever
Just something to deal with

We could have kissed
We were just kids
Something I’ve missed
Both of us hid

Friends had gotten in the way
They were the knife
You had gone far away
You’re outta my life
