Love..Loss...Magic..2

About a young girl that still has alot to learn about her life…
"Okay Jess. That’s enough. Come on time to go" said Tye trying to break through the crowd, grabbing my hand.
Behind Christina I could see a whole bunch of cheerleaders ready to pounce. Bring it I thought. " Nice back up you got there. What are they going to do? Hit me with their pom poms?" I told her, "I don’t ever want to see your face again" I said walking off to my next class.
"Oh yeah? Well they are better than those big gorillas you got" she called out, " walk away freak. Just remember I own you and your gorillas"
I stopped dead in my tracks. So did Tye, I felt his hand tense around my arm. My brothers don’t take it so well when they are called names, or being owned by someone. It was something I still needed to learn, to understand from them. I have never really known why but I have seen them loose their temper when people call them, us, names.
"What did you just call my brothers?" I asked her, walking back to her.
"Big ugly gorillas" she spat. That did it. Before Tye could grab my arm I punched her straight on the nose. Smack! It echoed through the hallway. I heard gasps around me but I didn’t turn to look. I didn’t care what they were thinking but It was about time someone stood up to her.
In slow motion she went down, holding her nose. "Don’t you dare say that about my brothers again" I growled at her.
"Break it up now. What is going on here" said the principal. Great.
"She hit me sir. I didn’t do anything at all. She just hit me" she lied.
"Is this true Miss Brown?"
"Yeah I hit her but she deserved it sir" I said through clenched teeth, "I am sincerely sorry about my manners sir but she started it"
"Okay. That’s enough. Everybody get back to class. NOW! As for you two I am giving you after school detentions."
"But sir-"
"No Christina. Im sick of all your childish acts. The both of you get to class now. Miss Brown I do not want to hear you talk to me like that again. You understand?"
"Yes sir."
I could feel Christina’s eyes on my back as I walked to my next class.
"Excuse me your in my seat."
I had my head down replaying what had just happened in my head.
"Uh hello, you’re in my seat."
"Well it doesn’t have your name on it now, does it" I said not looking up.
"Still that is my seat."
"Mr Smith. Please find a seat so we can get started" said the teacher.
"Yes Ms."
I could feel his eyes on me the whole time we were in class. When the bell finally rang I ran out of class not bothering to look where I was going.

"What is wrong withy you Jess!" growled Decklan, "You could have been suspended for hitting her, or even expelled for talking like that to the principal."
"She deserved it" I said, rolling my eyes at him, "Who cares anyway. What is done is done."
"You could have had us exposed you know"
"Exposed? How? It was I that hit her, not you"
Sitting in the cafeteria area was strange with everyone staring. They were probably talking about me and the scene that happened earlier. With my brothers sitting around me protectively may have been embarrassing for some teenage girl, but I found it comforting. They are always there for me. Across the room something caught my eye. A boy was staring at me. He was In a group with his friends? I wasn’t sure. They looked different. Like us. With him were 2 girls and a 2 other boys. All of them a pale color. The boy staring had golden eyes with black spiked hair. The other boy had short blonde hair with the same colored eyes as him. The two girls looked like they were in deep conversation. One had long wavy blonde hair, the other had short spiky black hair streaked with red. As I looked closer they all have the same colored eyes. A black colored eyes outlined with a golden color. Such beautiful yet strange colored eyes I thought.
"Why did you hit that girl in the hallway?" said Bow.
"I have my reasons." I told him.
"Okay change of subject. Yo Tye check out the hottie straight ahead" said Beau.
I laughed at him.
"Yeah, hottie alright. Too bad she’s way out of your league. She probably belongs to one of those two anyway."
"Oh come on you two. Grow up. Cannot you see the resemblance?" I asked laughing.
"She’s right, but check out the eyes. Strange" said Bow.
As if they could hear what we were saying, they looked at us then looked away again.
Outside I could feel the weather change. Bow. I could tell something was wrong. The tension coming from him was strong. Tye got up quickly and walked out.
"Tye?! Where you going?" I called after him. Every eye was on him. What is wrong with him? I thought. "Okay spill. Explain what just happen. Now !"
They all hesitated.
"Bow thought he saw that guy across the room change the color of his eyes from that golden color to a dark red color like he was telling him to back off, which angered him. I’m not so sure about Tye, he’s probably out for some fresh air" explained Beau shrugging. The twins have two abilities, instead of one like the others. Their second ability is that they can read each other’s thoughts.
"Bow calm down, you were probably hallucinating. No one, not even you can change eye colors just like that" I said trying to calm him down. The wind outside blew even harder. "and I thought I had anger issues. Guess I aint the only one" I said, more to myself than to him. I saw Tye walk in looking sick. "Tye what’s wrong?" I asked. It wasn’t like him to be like this. He was the strongest of all of us.
"I am not so sure myself. I just felt sick after we talked about those kids over there" he said looking over at the other group.
"That is strange" said Beau, "but enough with that crap. The bells going to go in any minute. Start packing up" he ordered.
The wind outside had calmed which meant Bow had calmed down aswell.
"Listen I’ve got an after school detention okay. I got it after that fight I had. Someone pick me up at 7:00 please. No later then that" I told Decklan, "or maybe you can leave the car with me?" I asked.
"No way" he laughed, "I’ll pick you up"
