I laughed, I cried, I was happy, I was sad

You seemed so real, your feelings seemed so real
So how was it that love never made it to our relationship?

We both were imperfect, but never was I inhuman
Our relationship at the beginning was like the headlines news.
Everyone knew, everyone was interested, everyone had an opinion.

Your words were never real, because your true feelings you would hide,
You were a great actor, a pretender, a poor excuse of what a real man defines.
You left me and walked away with a silence that hurt me and scarred me for the rest of my life.
You left me when your moral support was all I needed at the time.
