Love, Live and Laugh - Chapter 3

Sorry for taking long to upload, as you can see I'm working on other stories too. Picture is of Lucinda's Dad. Yeah I know that's Bella Swan's dad but I had to use him, 'cause he's perfect for him.
Erik’s POV

After we finished our food we were ready to leave.

"Waiter?" Dan said looking around. A man came towards our table as soon as he heard.

"Check." He said pointing at the money." Let’s go guys." He said getting up. All of us got up and put our coats or whatever’s on. I quickly scanned the room looking for Lucinda, I don’t know why but I was. Sadly to my concern I didn’t find her. She was probably serving or cooking someone.

"Come let’s go babe. We don’t want the paparazzi surrounding us." Julia said tugging at my arm. I nodded as she was right. It was probably out by now that we were in a public restaurant.

"Yeah let’s go." I murmured. We all walked out the door; it was all clear, thankfully.

"Wow. It’s clear for once." Julia sulked. I know and so do the rest she loves the paparazzo’s attention. Standing there next to me taking pictures. I hated it though. The attention. We walked over to our car and got in.

Dan was driving and he was backing up, to our luck the paparazzi jumped out. Now the quiet area we were in two minutes ago no longer existed.

"Erik and Julia! When are you two planning to get married?"

"Erik are you ready for this?"

"Do you still miss Aria?"

"Julia, you look magnificent today."

"Oo, the others are here to. Any one volunteering for questions?"

Too many questions were being asked. I was started to get a headache. This is what you get for being a son of a big family and planning to marry a princess.

"Dan, get out of here somehow." I said. He nodded. The paparazzo’s were right though, was I ready to marry Julia? If all I could think about was Aria and Lucinda’s resemblance.

Luckily Dan made it out somehow. Kim, Jay and Harry went into another car as they were going to Jay’s house.

Ten minutes later Dan stopped the car and waited for Julia to get out, her house was there. There house was so massive. It had probably had a billion bedrooms with a bathroom with it.

"By Erik." She leaned kissing me on my cheek. She smelt like bananas, weird right? As soon as she got out Dan carried on driving to my house, well ‘our’. He’s staying over for a while.

Lucinda’s POV

I woke up because of the sun piercing my eyes. I angrily pushed my covers of me and stomped to the bathroom. I didn’t have work today, thank God. I rapidly put some jeans on and a pink top.

I sprinted down the stairs into the kitchen. I felt so hungry, but defiantly did NOT want to have breakfast. I’d probably throw up. To my surprise my dad was sitting down on the sofa talking on the phone.

"Yeah, that sounds good. Okay so in an hour, bye." He said cutting the line of.

"Dad? Who were you talking to?" I asked curiously. He slowly walked towards me.

"Lucinda…" He said gesturing for me to sit down.

"Now your nineteen years old, I thought it was time for me and you to look for someone for you." He said slowly. Oh no. Marriage.

"Dad I’m still nineteen."

"So today I invited someone over. He’s going to be here in about an hour." He said completely ignoring what I said. I didn’t want to disobey him and he was right. If I did get married I could quit the stupid job of mine.

"Ok daddy." I smiled and ran up the stairs.

Lucinda Dad’s POV

"Yeah, that sounds good. Okay so in an hour, bye." I said cutting the line of. How was I going to tell Lucinda? But I have to; I have to get her married as soon as possible.

If they catch me I need her to be safe and gone from this place. They can’t find her, not after what they did.

"Dad?" I heard a voice and quickly turned around. Lucinda was standing there. "Who were you talking to?" She asked.

This was the perfect time to tell her. I slowly walked towards her trying to seem calm.

"Lucinda…" I said while I was gesturing for her to sit down as I down she’d probably have a fit.

"Now you're nineteen years old, I thought it was time for me and you to look for someone for you." I made sure she heard the ‘you’ part so she didn’t think it was only my choice of boys. Her face suddenly turned into confusion.

"Dad I’m still nineteen." She said but I ignored it. I know what it best for her she doesn’t need to prove her point.

"So today I invited someone over. He’s going to be here in about an hour."

"Ok daddy." She smiled and ran up the stairs. Wow, that was easy, really easy.
