CHAPTER 9

I never thought I would be at the front of my home.. I brushed my mind against Ryan's to make him talk to me.
'Sister. we must talk. will you come home?' His mind whispered against mine.
'I am. please let me in.' I said and in like 10 seconds he was there.
"Sister." He said and he hugged me. I was shocked. He was hugging me. Why?
"How are you?" I asked stiffly
"I have missed you. I am sorry about when we were in the dream place. I was mad." He said and I looked at him when he pulled away.
"She asked about you." I said and his face went dark.

"She did?" He asked.
"She said she wanted to know what you were doing. I didn't want to. But I... I went into your mind. She looked at me and it was like when we were little." I said and I felt tears build up in my eyes.
"When was this?" He asked.
"This morning." I said and his face went dark.
"What all did you hear?" He asked.
"I pulled out when abby started ranting." I said and shrugged.
"Oh." He said and grabbed my hand.
We went up the walk and into our home.. My home.. It brought me joy to have my home back.
"Mother thinks you will let her be a grandma to your child." I said suddenly.
"Never." His voice came out like a hiss.
"Thats what I told her." I said and looked around as we walked into the dining hall. Abby is sitting there.

"Abby." He said. She turned and when she saw me her smile vanished.
"Raven." She said flatly.
"How are you?" I asked being nice.
"Hmmm...." She says not answering me..
(Abbys P.O.V)
It was noticed that she had a long two years. Her face looked worned.
I felt the baby kick and my hand flashed down to the spot. Her eyes fallowed the movement and I was surprised to see her face soften. Her hair was longer. Thicker.
"Abby She asked you a question." Ryan said his eyes hard.
"I am fine." I said and smiled a small smile.
"Good." She said and smiled at me. I stood up and sighed.
"I have a doctors appointment so I must be getting ready." I said and nodded my head at Raven.

"Tell me how it goes." She said softly.
"Yes." Ryan said and put an arm around her shoulders.
"I will." I said and turned and walked up into the hall.
(RAVEN P.O.V.)
"I will." Abby said and walked out into the hall. I looked at my brother.
"You wont go with her?" I asked. He was staring at the door she had walked out of. He looked down at me. His eyes held no emotion. I pulled away as a defense. His eyes held shock for a moment and the understanding filled his eye.
"No. I wont go with her." He said and I nodded.
"She seems...." I stopped. How do I word it? She didn't look at me with hate. But something different. Pity? Sorrow?
"I told her our story." He said and I heard the meaning. He told her my story.
"She feels sadness for me?" I asked.

"Yes." He said and I nodded. My story. The 30 years in prison.
"I think you should go with her. Its your baby." I said and he looked down at me. I went into his mind. I needed to know. How did he change his mind?
I went deep into his mind.
'Grandfathers right. I can trust her, she is my twin. But hes also wrong. Shes different. Her face shows wear. shes reached her limit. wonder if she can fight in the war again. hope so shes good.'
I pulled out and sighed.
"When did the war start?" I asked and he looked at me shocked.
"About a year ago." He said and I nodded. I turned and started to walk away then stopped.
"I made my choice. Its time you did to. I went to our mother and I choose what I wanted. You go to her and you pick what you want. Its time you went and saw are real dad anyway." I said watching him with guarded eyes.
"I pick to not go." He said and I sighed,

"We have a step sister. Shes really nice. She was in the woods with us. Her names Nikky. She helped me." I said watching him.
"Why should I go?" He asked.
"Because its our mother. You need to tell her face to face that you no longer belong to her. That you are not bound to her. She told me I was. But I'm not. I told her that. Any love I felt it seems to have washed away." I said and looked at the ground.
"Whats she like?" He whispered softly.
"Shes like we remember. Strong and powerful. Shes different in some ways. Hard and mean. She called me a mutt. But that dose not matter. She didn't know who I was. Shes royal. She is queen there. And our father is king. I don't know much about him. I only saw him twice and both times I was mad." I said and he nodded.

"How am I going to get there?" He asked and I looked at him.
"I could go back. Talk to her. Have her see you." I said and felt dreadful at the thought of going back.
"No." He said shaking his head.
"Go to Abby." I said and he nodded and left.
I glanced around. The walls were still a blood red. The floors hard oak wood. Shining. Same as the table. I walked out and blinked. The white walls made it brighter. The light blue tile floor made me make noise as I walked. I needed new shoes.
"Raven?!" Amy asked and dropped the try she was holding and ran to me. She hugged me and I felt the warmth of her tears.
"I have missed you." She said and pulled back with a smile.
"Whats that you dropped?" I asked staring at the red liquid as it made a puddle.
"Oh!" She said her eyes wide. She spun around and flipped the tray on the right side and picked the glass up. She frowned.

"What is that." I said memorized.
"Oh.. Your brother ah has a prisoner. A vampire. I have to leave this in there far away do he cant get it but close enough so he can smell it." She said and walked away and a minute later she was cleaning up the mess and she had a brand new glass of blood.
"Prisoner?" I asked and fallowed her as she made her way down the hall and to the door that lead down to the basement where the cells were kept.
"Oh yes." She said and used her key and opened the door. I went down with her. In the last cage crumbled on the floor was a vampire. His hair was a dirty blonde. Of course maybe it was just dirt.
"How long?" I asked
"About a week after you left." She said and opened the cage. He looked up then and hissed.

"Shut up." Amy growled. He sniffed and his eyes went wide.
"Amy?" I asked and she looked back at me. He was chained to the wall.
"He smells the blood." She said and sat the tray down so he couldn't reach it. But I could tell he smelled it.
"oh.." I said
"Come on." She said and started back up. I didn't move.
The vampire was pulling trying to get free. Trying to get the blood.
"Are you coming?" She asked.
"No. Ill be up later." I said. She shrugged and left.
He was beautiful. He was also shirtless. Now I know what it feels like. I had just imprinted. My mind registered that and I didn't know what to do. I bent down and picked up the blood. His eyes fallowed the movement.
"Give me." He hissed and pulled.

"You cant get free like that." I said and walked towards him.
"Don't care. Give me." He said and pulled harder.
"They will know." I said and he stopped pulling. He looked up at me and I saw his eyes. They were green. I put it back down and looked him up and down. 2 years.
"Please." He whispered. His face was covered in scares.
"You cant tell." I said and he nodded. I signaled for him to be quite. I went back up and walked to the kitchen. The cooks looked at me and I looked at them. They all looked away. I went to the fridge. I pulled out some of the wine and the secretly grabbed a bag of blood. I grabbed a glass and poured the drink in it. I put the wine back and left the kitchen and went back to the basement. I walked to his cage and gulped down the wine then poured the blood into the empty cup and handed it to him threw the bars. His face looked like a kids did on there birthday. He drank deeply.

When he was done he handed it back to me. He looked a lot better.
"Why are you helping me?" He asked and I lowered my eyes.
"I'm part vampire." I said and looked up.
"I thought I smelled vampire on you." He said and he stretched then winced.
"The other girl who was down here. She obeyed you. Why?" He asked and yet again I had to look away.
"My twin brother is alpha and they must obey me because I also have the alpha blood." I said.
"Please don't say the word blood." He hissed. His face was dark.
"Ok." I said and nodded.
"How can you be related to that thing?" He asked and I looked up sharply.
"That thing is my twin brother." I growled. His face held surprise.

"Sorry." He said and I just shook my head.
"Raven?" Amy yelled down here.
"Yes?" I asked
"Your brother is back and wishes to see you." She said.
"Ill be there." I said and looked at the vampire.
"Ok." She said and closed the door as she left.
"Raven." He whispered.
"Hmm?" I asked.
"They talk about you." He said and I was confused.
"Who?" I asked.
"The guards. When the punish me then speak of you. Saying how you betrayed your pack and ran off for your lover just like your mother." He said and I snarled.

"I did no such thing. My brother banished me!" I nearly yelled.
"They say you tried to kill his mate." He said watching me.
"Never. Tho I want to." I said and glanced at my watch. 7:30.
"Shes an evil little bitch." He said nodding.
"She feels sorrow for me." I said.
"Why?" He asked.
"Because my brother told her about what I have been threw. Well some of it. He didn't tell her until early this morning tho." I said and started to walk away.
"By the way my names Nick. Just don't tell them that." He said and I nodded and left. I walked fallowing the smell of amy. I found her with Abby.
"Hello." I said and amy smiled at me. Abby was glowing.
"Oh Raven I'm having a little boy." She said and hugged me. I was shocked. She just hugged me.

"I'm happy for you." I said woth a smile and kinda sorta hugged her back.
"Ryan wants to see you. He says meet him in his study." Amy said and I nodded and walked to my brothers study. I knocked on the door.
"Come." He said and I walked in. He was sitting in his chair behind his deas. The light were dim.
"Amy told me she showed you our prisoner." He said and I froze.
"Yes." I said my voice flat.
"She says you stayed down there for a long time." No change in his voice
"Yes." I said slowly

"Why?" He asked
"Hes a prisoner. I wanted to see him." I said
"Did he talk to you?" He raised an eyebrow
"He tried begging me to give him the blood." I said
"Did you?" He asked standing up.
"No." I said
"Lets go see." He said and walked past me. I fallowed him down to the basement. Nick looked up and he narrowed his eyes at me. I shook my head fast, His eyes got wide.

Ryan looked at the cup and saw that it was full. Nick glared at Ryan.
"Raven he was caught killing the young children." Ryan said and I froze. Children?!
"You lie." Nick said.
"I do not and you do not speak." Ryan said bitterly.
"Children?" I asked quietly.
"Yes." My brother said and I looked at Nick. He was watching me. I looked at my brother and searched his mind.
"Why do you lie to me?" I asked my voice hurt.
"What do you mean?" Ryan asked startled
"Hes here because you found him and put him here." I said and Ryan's eyes narrowed
"Stay out of my head." He growled.
"Don't lie to me." I said.
"It doesn't make a difference what hes done he is a vampire." Ryan said then turned and left. I leaned against the wall

"How did you know?" Asked Nick.
"Me and my brother we are twins. We can talk with our minds. I can sometimes brake into a persons mind but I don't. Not anymore." I said and walked over and sat down next to the cage.
"Hes a bitter man." Nick said and I sighed.
"No.. Hes a confused man. His mates pregnant and he doesn't know how to be a father. Our father was mean and horrid. Our mother left us when we were seven. He doesn't know how to raise a child." I said and leaned my head against the wall and closed my eyes.

"How can you be tired? I'm not and I have been stuck in here for two years." He said and I opened my eyes and looked at him. His eyes were bright. He was almost bouncing ni his place.
"I.... I'm not a fan of dark places and things that have cells. I get really tired when I'm here. Or anywhere that has a cell." I said.
"Why?" He asked and I stood up.
"For 30 years I was held prisoner and beaten every day. Cells scary me." I said and then I made a decision.
"I'll be back." I said and went up to my brother.
"Hes a vampire." I said. We were in the dining hall just us.
"Yes." he said and I took a deep breath.
"Let him free." I said he looked at me sharply.
"No." He said.

"Let him free. Keep him here but let him free. If he dose something bad ill take the blame. All of it." I said and damn it I knew that I was going to get it if he stepped out of line.
"He hurts someone the penalty is death. You take it all you both burn." He said slowly.
"I know." I said and he nodded.
"Set him free. Hes yours. You watch him." He said and I ran back down to the cell.
Nick looked up shocked at my sudden appearance.
"You be on you best. Do you understand? You touch nothing. You don't do anything unless I say you can. Do you understand?" I asked.
"What?" He asked and I unlocked his cell and walked up to him and crouched down in front of him.
"You ask before you do anything. Do you understand?" I said.
"Yes but whats this about?" He asked confused.

"I'm setting you free but you must stay with me. You cant do anything unless I say so. If you brake one rule I get punished." I said and his eyes went wide.
Yes." He said softly closing his eyes. I broke the chains and helped him up. He looked around the pushed away from me and grabbed the blood and drank it all.
"You have to stay by me." I said and he looked at me.
"ok." He said and I made my way up the stairs and stopped at the top. He slowly came up. I grabbed his hand and walked with him down the halls and to the kitchen. We walked in and the cooks looked at me and there eyes went wide.
"Miss. Raven Hes.... Hes a vampire." Said the head cook and her face was pale.
"I know." I said and walked over to the fridge and grabbed a buch of bags of blood and he trailed after me as I made my way to my room. I opened the door slowly and was shocked. It was the same. Just the way I left it. I walked in and after Nick came in I shut the door.

"Where are we?" He asked looking around.
"In my room. Here." I said and gave him the blood. He drank it from the beggy.
I went over to my bed and sat down. I looked at my black walls and my dark green carpet.
"Thank you." He whispered. I Looked over at him. His eyes had just hint of red.
"Don't." I said and looked away.
"Why did you do it?" He asked and I looked back up.
"I cant tell its forbidden." I said and looked away.
"What is?" He asked and walked so he was standing in front of me.
"I must tell you a story. Its long and it may take some time." I said and he sat down in a chair and looked at me waiting.
"My mother she was... well she was something. She had the royal blood. Not Her mate. Id call him my father but to me he was nothing. She liked to go out and walk. Always at night. My mother did something that put me and my brother to shame before we were even born. It was dark the night she met him. She imprinted on a vampire. The vampires name was Marcus. She didn't tell anyone. Night after night she went to see him. Her love for him grew stronger and stronger. Soon she was pregnant. She was pregnant with his child. Wait. I mean children. She had me and my brother. Its rare for twins to be born among our kind. Children hardly survive there first few years. If you kill a child your sentenced to death." I said and took a deep breath. Nick was watching me.

"So me and my brother grew. But our minds raced ahead. We were smart and knew almost anything. Alex was my mothers husband. She calmed he was our father. He loved us that im sure of. But as we grew he noticed things. At the age of seven I could fight and cast spells and work my magic. I was talented. Ryan he could fight and he could come up with ideas to help us win the war. Nobody messed with us. We were powerful. My mother loved us. She did I know she did. But it hurt her to be away form Marcus. But she couldn't leave to see him. She had us. She told Alex one night what we were. That we were hafe vampire. I was faster then my brother. I could sneak around and I knew things. Ryan cant brake into minds like me. He cant run like me and he cant fight like me. My mother told Alex all of that and I wasn't his anymore. He calmed Ryan and he gave Ryan the thron. I would have had it. That night he told my mother she had to leave. Told her to get out. And that night my mother tucked me into bed and she promised she would never leave and that was the last time I saw her. For a long time." I said and closed my eyes. it was like yesterday. The memory's.

"So whats forbidden?" He asked.
"To imprint on a vampire." I said and he looked at me.
"Is it something you can control?" He asked
"No." I said and he nodded.
"Raven." Amy said from the door I was up and over to her in a second.
"What?" I asked.
"I.... I have to tell you that Abby wants you to help her pick out names." Amy said and I nodded.
"He must come with me." I said and she nodded.
"Abby knows." She said then was gone.
"Come." I said and left my room and fallowed the scent of Amy and it led to Abby. I pushed open the door and Abby sat there. She smiled at me when I came in and she surprised me by smiling at Nick.

"How are you and uh." Abby said not sure what to say.
"Nick." Nick said with a smile.
"I heard you wouldn’t give them your name." Abby said.
"I am no longer a prisoner." He said.
"Ah. I see Raven is the one who set you free.. Did Ryan say you could?" She asked and I smiled
"Yes I asked and he said I could." I said and sat down in a chair. We were in grandfathers study."And why did you ask?" She said and I glanced away from her.
"Ryan said he told you my story." I said and she looked at me and frowned.
"Yes." She said and I took a deep breath.
"He was covered in scars. He was being starved. It reminded me to much of when I was held." I said and looked up and into her eyes.

"What all did they do to you?" She asked she looked amused.
"Nothing." I said and looked away.
"Why wont you tell?" She asked.
"Because I don’t feel that you have a right to know what I went threw." I said and she looked shocked.
"Why?" She asked.
"You have tried to kill me. You turned my brother against me. Why would I trust you with the knowledge of the pain of what they did to me?" I asked.
"I am your sister." She said.

"No. You are my brothers mate." I said and stood up.
"Well at least he has a mate!" She said mad.
"I am proud of who I am and I don’t mind not having a mate. I am proud about the way I am." I said and walked out. Nick fallowed me.
"Shes mean." He said finally.
"Yes." I said and went to find my brother.
I found him in the main hall.
"Ah sister." He said with a smile then frowned at Nick.
"Your mate is mad at me." I said and his eyes winded.
"Why?" He asked.
"I told her she had no right to know about my time in prison when she asked." I said and Ryan nodded.

"She asked?" He said and I nodded this time.
"She more or less made fun of Raven for not having a mate." Nick said and Ryan glanced at him.
"Do you now what happens if you step out of line vampire?" Ryan asked and I closed my eyes.
"What?" Nick asked his voice hard.
"You both suffer the same punishment." Ryan said narrowing his eyes.
"What do you mean?" Nick asked shocked.
"You hunt on my land you are held in prison for 30 days. No food no water nothing. She is held with you because she has put herself on the line for you. She has said that you will behave and if you do not she will be punished." Ryan said and I opened my eyes and glared at him.

"She has done this?" Nick asked shocked.
"Yes." Ryan said.
"Why?" Nick asked. God it was like I wasn't here.
"I do not know." Ryan said and I took a deep breath.
"I did it because I had to." I said and my eyes met Ryan's and his eyes widened.
"Sister you haven’t?!" Ryan asked.
"Y-Yes." I said and he closed his eyes.
"Dose he know?" He asked and I glanced at Nick.
"No." I said and Ryan nodded.
"You must tell him. I will see what I can do about the law. I will try to change it but I do not know what good it may do." He said and turned and left.

"What was he talking about?" Nick asked looking around.
"I told you my mothers story. Now its time for me to tell you mine and why I told you my mothers." I said and walked down the hall and to my room. He fallowed me.
"Ok I'm ready." He said and I nodded and walked over and sat on my bed and leaned forward when he sat in the chair next to my bed.
"My mother left when I was 7. I spent 15 years looking for her. My brother said it was useless. And I now know he was right but at the time I didn’t. I looked for her. But I never found her.
My brother drifted away for about 27 years. I went around the world for 58 years and I learned every thing there is to know. The time I finally got home we were in a war. it lasted for 38 years. I was a great fighter. Very good. I met a man. He was a village man and he was a traitor. At the time I didn’t know that and he became my friend. His name was Alec. He was sweet and nice. I cared for him deeply. I could even say that I loved him. My brother liked him. Tried to talk me into becoming his mate. Of course I didn’t want that because of the war so I said no. It was nothing for him to take to heart. But a week later he ambushed me. Took me to another pack and I was held prisoner for 30 years. Finally my brother came and rescued me. The last time I saw Alec he was running away from me as I chased him." I said with a dark smile.

"After that?" He asked.
"I spent 7 years doing combat. The year was over and we had 25 years if peace. No fight nothing."I said and watched him
"ok what happened after that?" He asked.
"My brother tried to kill me. His mate had said that I was working for Alec to kill our people. My brother had….. Well he had started to no longer trust me. As I was close to death I made my brother use the alpha to get me to talk and I was freed. On my time alone I came across many things. I killed vampires for fun. To make my anger go away. One time I was pretending to be human and a hafe vampire named Zach pinned me down. I played with him. I enjoyed myself as I flipped him and he flipped me. Then as we played around Nikky the little girl he was guarding came. She was scared because of my smell. Then… Then my brothers pack came. Long dtory short they left and Zach and Nikky took me to the village. The vampire village. There I found my mother. She is your queen." I said and his eyes went wide.

"Azula?" He asked shocked.
"Yes and my father is your king." I said and looked down.
"Marcus." He said.
"Yes. The vampire she imprinted. Now I have done the same thing." I said and he cocked his head and looked confused.
"You have imprinted with a vampire?" He asked and I took a deep breath.
"Yes." I said.
"Who?" He asked and I closed my eyes.
"You." I said and slowly opened my eyes. He stared at me shocked.
"That is why you brought me the blood? That is why you freed me?" He asked and I sighed.
"Yes. Also because you were starved and beaten." I said and stood up.
"So I'm like your mate now?" He asked also standing up.

"If you want to be then yes. If you were wolf then you would have imprinted on me as well. But you are a vampire. You get to pick. If you are my mate we will be married and so on. You may even be royal. But that is only if my brother can get the law lifted." I said and looked at him.
"I am your mate?" He asked.
"Do you want to be?" I asked and he looked at me.
"Yes." He said and kissed me. He just kissed me. My mind froze. My hands fixed into his hair and I kissed him back. When we pulled away we were both breathing fast.
"Excuse me?" Ryan said we pulled apart and I felt my face go beat red.
I looked at my brother and he was watching me.
"Did you need something?" I asked and he sighed.
"Law is changed. It is allowed." He said and I felt my face light up.
"What?" Nick asked and I smiled at him.
"We are allowed." I said and he understood.
"Oh." He said and I nodded.

"So he picked to be your mate?" Ryan asked.
"Yes." Nick said his voice flat.
"I will tell the people." Ryan said.
"Ok." I said.
"You have much to do go and start." Ryan said and I nodded and he left.
"What are we doing?" Nick asked and I smiled.
"Go clean up." I said and motioned towards the bathroom. He sighed and went into the bathroom.
"I will be back. I must do things." I said and left. I went to find amy. She was cleaning.
"Amy." I said and she looked up. Her hair was longer.
"Yes?" She said and I motioned for her to come.
She walked up to me and I glanced around.

"I have imprinted." I said and her face lit up.
"Who?" She asked.
"Ryan changed the law. It is allowed." I said and her face showed understanding.
"He is nice. Just don’t imprison him." She said with a smile.
"I would never do that." I said and she laughed.
"Do you need help with anything?" She asked and I smiled.
"Be my maid of honor?" I asked and her face lit up.
"Yes." She said and I smiled again.
"Ok now I need to find Abby and tell her." I said and Amy started laughing.
"May I come with you?" She asked and I nodded.
We walked down the hall and to my brothers room. I knocked and Abby opened the door.
"Yes?" She asked.

"I am getting married." I said and her face went dark. She looked mad.
"Who?" She growled.
"Nick." I said and smiled as she glared at me.
"Vampire." She said.
"Ryan lifted the law." I said with pride and turned and walked away. Amy fallowed. I went to my room and opened the door. Nick sat there. His hair wet. His hair was a dirty blonde. He smiled when he saw me.
"Hello." He said and walked over and gave me a kiss.
"Hello." I said and smiled at him.
"Hey." Amy said smiling brightly.
"Oh? And who is this?" Nick asked.
"Amy." I said.
"Hello Amy." He said.. I don’t know if she noticed but he was only in a towel.

"I think I should get you something to ware." I said and he laughed.
"Yes." He said and kissed me again.
"You guys are so cute together." Amy said and sighed.
"Hmm…" He said and kissed me again.
"Ok guys we have work to do." Amy said and pulled me away from Nick.
"Hey." I said and frowned.
"Well you have to find him something to ware and we have to plan." She said and Nick fallowed us. She pulled me along behind her.
"Do you mind not pulling on her?" He asked smiling
"Well how will I get her to fallow and stop kissing you?" Amy asked. She was like a bubble of energy.

"I will try not to make her want to kiss me." Nick said trying not to laugh.
"Oh shut up." I said rolling my eyes. I pulled away from Amy and Nick pulled me to him.
"You guys." Amy said and I laughed.
"Hmmm should we leave her behind and be alone or should I let her drag you away?" Nick whispered in my ear.
"Hmmm I don't know..." I said. It was strange to feel love like this after so long.
"I think I get you." Amy said smiling.
"Why?" Nick asked.
"Because we have a wedding to plan." Amy said it like he was dumb.
"Amy!" Abby yelled as she came down the hall.
"Oh great." Amy said rolling her eyes.
"What do you think your doing?" Abby hissed when she was standing in front of us.
"Helping Raven plan her wedding." Amy said.
"No your going to help me pick out names." Abby said and grabbed Amy's arm.
"Uhm I'm helping out Raven." Amy said and Abby growled.
"Yo Abby calm down." I said and she hissed at me then in a fit of rage she slapped me.
"Hey!" I yelled. Nick was in front of me growling his head off.
"Vampire." Abby hissed.

"Witch from hell." Nick countered.
"Go back to that cell you crawled out of. Its where you belong. Look at you. Only in a towle." Abby said and I growled.
"He is mine so back off." I said my teeth barred,
"Hes a fucking vampire!" She yelled.
"Your a fucking whore! Whats your point?!" I yelled. Her face turned bright red.
"Take it back." She hissed. I narrowed my eyes and pushed against her mind. Her wall was weak. I was in her mind and I saw EVERYTHING. I saw her whole life.
"Abby... Why did you cheat on my brother with Alec?" I asked. It stung to say his name. To know he hurt me twice. Not just when he ambushed me but when he did the wild thing with her.

"How dare you!" She screamed.
"Where is he?" I asked moving past Nick and going towards Abby. She knew where he was.
"I don't know." She said looking away.
"Tell me." I said close enough to reach her.
"He... Hes at the old abandoned house in the woods." She said and I was gone. I was down the hall and out the back door. I ran threw the woods until I got there. I could smell him. I walked in and he was sitting in a chair. He looked up and his eyes went wide.
"Raven" He said. I growled.
"Why are you here?" I said deadly.
"I... Its... This is my home to." He said.
"We don't allow traitors." I said and he looked away.
"Look Raven I'm sorry." He said standing up.

"Do you even know what it was like? For 30 years they had me. They beat me." I said and he hung his head in shame.
"I said I as sorry. I was mad that you wouldn't be my mate." He said.
"So you take me to a prison and let me get beating. Starved. And rapted?" I asked in disbelief.
"Rape?" He asked shocked.
"Yes. Every night." I said and his eyes filled with tears. He was going to cry.
"They said they just starved you." He said and I laughed.
"They did more. More then your little mind can comprehend." I said and he growled.
"Don't speak to me like that." He said and suddenly there was a brush of air and Nick was at my side. He had on his old pants.
"Nick." I said and smiled.
"Who is this?" He asked and I smiled at Alec.
"He is my mate." I said and Alec's eyes went wide.
"Your mate?" He asked.

"Yes." I said. Alec screamed out in rage and pounced. I hand never been knocked into darkness but when Alec's body came down on mine I was thrown threw the air and threw a wall. So you can understand how scared I was when everything went black and silent.
