Love Like Ours Is Rare CHAPTER 8

My moms computer crashed and i had no way to write. I mean I could have used my dad labtop but that means I would have to share the time with my little brothers and I didn’t want to so I had to wait tell my mom got a new computer! I will try to get more chapters out faster but I need to have comments! And I mean more then like 6....... lol plz comment!!!!!

CHAPTER 8: who to pick

I opened my eyes to see Zach standing over me.

"Oh god..." I said and closed my eyes again.

"Do you want to go or not?" Zach asked my head started to pound.

"Id rather face my mother then go out." I said and when i opened my eyes again he was gone.

God.. I am alone. Always alone. Is it really my fault my mother left? Did i do something? Any thing? What had i done that would mske my mother leave? I had to talk to her. She says i dont know anything. Ill know. Ill make her tell me.

"Uhm what happened to your door?" Asked Nikky as she put her head threw the hole.

"Zach." I said and got up.

"You should dress up. You know like in a dress. Were having a party later.. For you. Since your the queens daughter. Is it true? Did she really leave you?" Nikky asked as she climbed in.

"Ya she left me and my brother Ryan.. Ryans more wolf." I said with a sigh.

"Oh.. Well do you have a dress?" She asked with a smile.

"No." I said looking around.

"The one good thing about being the queens daughter is that you can have anything you want." She said with a smiled and stuck her head out the hole and whisled. Soon there were two people a man and a woman. The woman was tall and stern. She had brown hair and it was graying just a little. The man was short and he glanced around nervously. His eyes stoped when he saw me. He smiled. His hair was a light blonde. He was skinny.

"You called." Said the woman.

"Yes my sister needs a dress. A very fancy one." Nikky said and the woman looked me up and down.

"Ah. She will need alot of work." She said and i growled.

"Oh hush. Rea dont be so mean. Shes been out on the street." Nikky said with a frown.

"As you wish." Rea said and they steped in the room nad both walked over and started picking up pices of my hair and lifting my arms. The only good thing about being a wolf is that i dont have to deal with unwanted hair. Haha.

"So what do you want done with her hair?" Asked the man.

"Oh Felex i dont know. Maybe cut it short?" Nikky asked looking at me.

"No." I said and Nikky looked at me and smiled.

"Maybe not then." Nikky said

"Damn stright. Nobody cuts a single strand of my hair or ill kill you." I said deadly.

"Ok dont worry." Nikky said.

"What color gown?" Asked Rea.

"Uhm Green? Maybe red." Nikky said thinking.

"Red." Said Rea.

"Should her hair be up or down?" Asked Felex.

"Hmmm.... I dont know..." Nikky said with a thoughtfull expression.

"You know i think i like it down." I said.

"Hmm... ok." Said Felex. Just then mom walked in.. Why is everyone coming in here today?

"I see your getting her all ready." She said with a little smile.

"Yep." Nikky said.

"If you guys dont mind i would like to talk to her alone." Mom said her voice held just a tiny bit of deman. They all left. I sighed and walked over to my bed and sat down. Mom was waring a light blue dress.

"Tell me." She said and i was confused.

"Tell you what?" I asked.

"What is your brother thinking? What is he doing?" She asked raising an eye brow.

"I dont know." I said shrugging.

"Look into his mind." She said staring at me. Her eyes begging. For a moment she looked like my mother.. I almost hugged her. But i stoped that train of thought.

"Hes blocked me. I have only tried once befor to get in his mind and it was opened." I said and she sighed.

"I just want to know what hes doing." She said and i sighed. I closed my eyes and focaused.

I felt around. Reaching towards that path that was as old as time. I brushed his mind to see if it was opened. It was.

"His mind is opened." I whispered.

"Whats he doing?" She asked and i focaused. I was trying hard not to be pulled in.

He was sitting at the table with Abby. Her face was dark. She was upset.. Why?

"You have admited to trying to kill my sister. What do you think i should do?" He asked her. She looked up.

"I dont know my love." She whispered.

"You carry my baby so i can not hurt you. But my sister is out there. With the vampires. Because of you." He said and Abby stood up. She was HUGE! No she was pregnet.

"Tell her to come back. She will answer to you." Abby waled to him and brushed his hair away from his face.

"I will not comand my sister. My twin sister to obay me. She stood by my side. She never hurt you. And you hate her.. Why?" He asked and brushed her hand away.

"She hates me as well. She never like me. And in school she was the one they all cared about. On the streets they all talked about her. About her bueaty. About how much she looked like her mother. She was what people wanted. And i hated it. When we imprinted on each other i was happy. But they still talked about her. Never me. I was nothing to them! I am there queen and i mean nothing to them!" Abby said her face red.

I pulled out of my brothers mind.

"So?" Mother asked.

"Hes with his mate. She is with child. Hes fighing with her. He wants me to come back." I said and looked around confused for the first time.

"Im going to be a grandma?" She asked her face glowing.

"I wouldnt put it that way." I said.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"You wont be a grandma. He wont let you be." I said ans i stood up.

"Why not?" She asked hurt.

"You left us. We were just little. You left and didnt come back. Didnt tell us why. He hates you for it. And i do to. You were are mother and you left. You came here and you have a new child. Nikky may love you but tht wont make up for anything. You left us and your people. We were alone. And as we grew our hate grew as well. You were a memory to us. A myth. And we didnt think you wer real." I said and i walked over to the door.

"You are my daughter. You cant turn your back on me now." She said. i turned and faced her.

"My back was turned the day you walked out. I stoped being your daughter the moment you called me a mut and i stoped loving you when you didnt know who i was." I said and walked over to my bag and grabbed it and walked out of the room. I had been here to long. It was about time i left.

"You will always be my child. The one who i sang to sleep at night. You are mine. My blood runs threw your vains." She said and i turned in the middle of the hall. She was standing right out side the door.

"Yes maybe thats why i get a cold chill now and then. Your blood is like ice. I can smell it." I said and walked out the door. The sky was just starting to get some light into it.

"You are bound to me!" She yelled after me.

"I am bound to no one. I belong to myself." I said and walked into the woods with a heavy heart.
