Love is A strong word Part 2--the note
The second one, I hope you guys like…
When the bell rang to go home that day I decided to take the big yellow twinky, the reason it gets such a nick-name is because all the kids look like they never saw the sun before in there life, they are that pail! Well, anyway back to the story. As soon as I got off the bus I ran in the house and picked up the phone, I started to dial but chickened out. then I picked it up again and got myself to dial it all the way again, then it started to ring, I heard a young girl about six answer the phone.
"Hello? Who is this? How did you get this number?" the little girl asked, I felt like I was a suspect for a crime.
"Lucy, knock it off" another voice came, this time it sounded like an 17 year old boy, then he came on the phone.
"Hello?" he asked now seeming more calm.
"Uh, hi is this Deven?" I asked a little nervous
"Ya, but who is this?" he asked a little confused
"Uh....I don’t think we met but I got this note on my desk in photography that said your number and you name..and I was calling" I answered
"I know how you got my number, what I wish to know is your name" he said, at first I though he was joking but he wasn’t
"I'm Lilly" I said in a happy tone now.
"Well miss Lilly, on your desk tomorrow will be a choice, make your choice then call this number tomorrow and answer, and don’t worry, all your choices are good ones" he said and hung up. I was getting a little scared but shrugged it off and went to bed.
The next day I went to school and on my desk was a rose, a note, a picture of a door, and a packet. I was surprised, I read the note, it said the rose, stands for romance, if you choose the rose I will do whatever I can to make this next month as mysterious and romantic as possible, the door, stands for your way out. choose it and ignore everything on this desk but if you do not like these choices, you can throw hem away and open the packet that reads on the top, do not open, but once you have opened it, you cannot go back to your other choices. ~Deven
It was amazing! I decided to take the final packet, mainly out of curiosity. So I did as the note instructed and threw away the rose and door, as well as the note, but the words kept bouncing around in my head, coming back. The words but once you have opened it, you cannot go back to your other choices it was so mysterious! I opened it anyway, carefully and tilted it to the side to make what was inside it slide out and my heart leapt! What came out was a pare of diamond earrings! They were beautiful, and I note, it said now that you have made this choice please meet me at the coffee shop down the street at lunch instead of calling me tonight. I hope you enjoy the earrings. ~Deven
